Not bad results when some where worried about these 5 games

Before we started this 5 game stretch, I read a lot of people stressing out about these games with all the injuries we have. We went through the stretch going 4-1 and outscoring our opponets 28-18. I would say the team passed this portion of the test alright. :thumbsup:

I was one of those folks who looked at that stretch of divisional games as a "tell" about this teams post season chances. After watching the blitzkreig thru the Northeast, I'm satisfied that nothing will slow this team down. Think about it, one bad bounce in Ottawa allows the Sens to take that game late, otherwise, it could have been 5-0 or 4-0-1.

 

This stretch sent the message heard around the league that this team is dangerous regardless of who is playing..
