eball Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 I vote for Dizzy. It's clever, and not simply an exaggerated pronunciation of his name.
Dizzy Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 You have to take pity on me, I've spent the season cheering for the worst two teams in the Conference (Philly and Washington), and my OHL team isn't even going to make the playoffs either. Plus if it helps, I'm not from Philadelphia.
ExiledInIllinois Posted March 3, 2007 Report Posted March 3, 2007 How 'bout: Stripes? You say, WTF... Stripes? That is where I say... Isn't his name the same or similar to that line of clothing that was popular in the early 1990's? Hey... I am trying here... Trying to get onto the RJ "wave length." :bag: :D

EdwardSauve Posted March 3, 2007 Report Posted March 3, 2007 Philly fans get a temporary pass for now. VIVA LA MARTY!! ICK! That makes everyone here feel dirty. :D
tragicheroparade Posted March 3, 2007 Report Posted March 3, 2007 What about "The Crane"? Let me explain. There was this Nigerian kid named Zube Okonkwo who's house I partied at these past two semesters at school. He was extremely tall and lanky, and so had a considerable advantage at the beer pong table. He was so lanky that he could almost extend his arm out and drop the ball into the cup of his choice, earning him the nickname "The Crane". Seeing as Zubrus' initial nickname was Zube (Zoo-bee), and he's also quite a tall fellow, and you know, he hopefully puts the biscuit in the basket with deadly accuracy, "The Crane" seems to fit. :)
