Corp000085 Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 ah the fabled jakub klepis for mike grier trade.
Corp000085 Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 ugh. bonk makjes it 2-1 for the habs.
chileanseabass Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 another flippin shorthanded goal.... gah
Corp000085 Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 wow, what a terrible period for the sabres. 2 goals on complete meltdowns. It's still respectable though, with the sabres only being down by one. I'd be happy if they forced OT, but i'm not about to get my hopes up.
LabattBlue Posted February 10, 2006 Author Report Posted February 10, 2006 That was about as uninspired as you can get. Anybody else annoyed by Jim Lorentz when he says about the opposing team..."You have to give them credit, blah, blah, blah..." instead of criticizing the play of the Sabres when it is warranted.
Corp000085 Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 I agree. The guy seems to be more of a homer than he used to be. I guess when the team sucks its easier to criticize evenly.
Corp000085 Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 ok lindy must have given a lashing. the sabres are coming on stronger than they did in the 2nd. They need a goal soon.
BetweenThePipes00 Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 I don't knoww ... Montreal is playing a better game than the other night and it's not like he's saying the sabres are playing well ...
chileanseabass Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 ok lindy must have given a lashing. the sabres are coming on stronger than they did in the 2nd. They need a goal soon. i really like the fact that the 4th line is getting a lot of ice time. they need to get some energy going
Corp000085 Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 [random thought] I like the fact that "99" is not painted behind the nets. What a crime that this is happening during this great NHL season. [/random thought]
Corp000085 Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 hecht hurt badly... still 2-1 habs
Corp000085 Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 um, did RJ just advertise a sabres sponsored casino gambling night? That's sorta like al michaels advertizing OJ's new horror flick.
Corp000085 Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 SCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! kotalik ties it with 20 seconds togo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
pacpie Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 SCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! kotalik ties it with 20 seconds togo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!! SCOREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS!!!!!! I LOVE THIS TEAM.
McJeff215 Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 SCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! kotalik ties it with 20 seconds togo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was about ready to call it a night =) Sens and Thrashers still 1-1.
Corp000085 Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 and as i was writing about how the sabres lost a forgettable game, kotalik blasts a point shot, deflected by pomenville to force overtime. Stealing at least one point from none. Leave it to the sabres to tie it up with the goalie pulled. huge huge huge, and now we have 5 more minutes of hockey.
Corp000085 Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 crap... the canadians win it in overtime, but the sabres completely stole one point.
Corp000085 Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 ok guys, i'm off to bed... till saturday night...
SDS Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 that was as patient of a goal as they come....
PromoTheRobot Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 Sabres are tired. The Olympic break couldn't come soon enough. I just hope our Olympians don't get completely worn out in Torino. Maybe the Hecht injury will keep him home. (looked like a twisted ankle to me) I'll settle for 1 point in the next two games, then refresh and reload for the playoff stretch. UPDATE: Atlanta Beats Ottawa 2-1. Sabres gain a point on the Sens. PTR
chileanseabass Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 looks like hecht has a grade 1 mcl sprain (per dr. ruff). no olympics for jochen.
