LabattBlue Posted February 9, 2006 Report Posted February 9, 2006 Scouting The Opponent's Fans:GoHabsGo.com >>> Fan Zone >>> Message Board Same prediction as Tuesday...Buffalo 4 Montreal 1 Go Sabres!!!!!
deluca67 Posted February 9, 2006 Report Posted February 9, 2006 The lead can be cut to two tonight with a litle help from the Thrashers. I wonder if some of the Sens recent stumbles are from looking over their shoulder. The Sens have never been considered mentaly tough. There is more then a good chance the Sabres and Sens could be dead even at the break. Won't that be interesting to talk about for two weeks.
Saber61 Posted February 9, 2006 Report Posted February 9, 2006 im thinkin a tighter predition this time... maybe 4-3 in overtime or regulation... montreal is slowly starting to regain some momentum behind huet... so we have to be careful not to under estimate them.
LabattBlue Posted February 9, 2006 Author Report Posted February 9, 2006 I will not be there tonight, but if any Montreal fans in attendance try to start that STUPID "ole ole" chant, they are to be immediately drowned out with a chant of "LET'S GO BUF-FA-LO"!!

hopeleslyobvious Posted February 9, 2006 Report Posted February 9, 2006 I think it is going to come down to Miller vs. Huet again...1-0, or 2-1 Sabres.
PTS Posted February 9, 2006 Report Posted February 9, 2006 Anyone going to the game tonight? I'll be in section 111 about 20 rows up. Right behind the net where Sabres shoot twice.
inkman Posted February 9, 2006 Report Posted February 9, 2006 Anyone going to the game tonight? I'll be in section 111 about 20 rows up. Right behind the net where Sabres shoot twice. I'll look for you when then pan the "kiss" cam. ;)
deluca67 Posted February 9, 2006 Report Posted February 9, 2006 I'll look for you when then pan the "kiss" cam. ;) Speaking of the 'Kiss Cam'. Wish me luck. I am applying for the job of running the Fan-O-Meter that measures the loudness of the crowd. I've been practicing at home.

Funniest thing about that is, people start cheering when it comes on. I remember back in the 2001 playoffs, when the National TV broadcast would come in, it was hard to get the crowd to be really loud...but put that Fan-O-Meter on the scoreboard and they go nuts.
Seannie34 Posted February 9, 2006 Report Posted February 9, 2006 We should post a link to the opposing teams message board on the game thread to see what they have to say about the game/sabres. I dunno about the Habs though I dont know enough french...
hopeleslyobvious Posted February 9, 2006 Report Posted February 9, 2006 I have tried to go to some other team's boards. Some of them require registration even to read them.
JujuFish Posted February 9, 2006 Report Posted February 9, 2006 Neither team has been able to score more than 3 goals, with 4 of the 5 matches thus far decided by a score of 3-2. Tonight is the night that changes. Montreal has been pathetic on the road after starting out undefeated in 8 games (I think, I'd have to check to be sure). Buffalo is just as good at home as on the road. Again going with a 4-1 prediction.
JujuFish Posted February 9, 2006 Report Posted February 9, 2006 Okay, I just checked. After starting out 6-0-2 on the road, Montreal is 3-15-2 since.

I dunno about the Habs though I dont know enough french... That's a great idea, I added the link to the first post.
Seannie34 Posted February 9, 2006 Report Posted February 9, 2006 thanks PTS for the link. i was on their board and it looks like a few of them are predicting a 3-2 habs win...
Larry Playfair Posted February 9, 2006 Report Posted February 9, 2006 the Canadiens are deserate for a W - so this could be trouble. But i think the Sabes pull it out 3-2.
BetweenThePipes00 Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 1-0 Buffalo ... Hecht on the PP ... Fitzpatrick then had an ungly giveaway trying to pass up the middle but ... no harm done ...
Corp000085 Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 Glad to see miller get the start. If i had $10, i'd put it on biron starting on saturday, which leaves tonight as the last home game before the olympic break. So far, miller and the boys are up 1-0. Hope things stay this way for two more periods.
Seannie34 Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 overall it seemed like a boring period. im glad the sabres could put one in though
JujuFish Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 C'mon Miller. Get that one thing still missing on your stat sheet. Get the SO!
BetweenThePipes00 Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 LOL dude that's like talking about a no-hitter after the third inning ...
BetweenThePipes00 Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 A finish would have been nice but there is a lot to like about Pyatt's game right now.
BetweenThePipes00 Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 Man do the Sabres look out of sync ... maybe me being on the board is bad luck.
