Knightrider Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 Dang it!!!! I'd give them Zubrus for Smyth anyday. Chances are that Smyth cost more than Zubrus.

Wraith Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 OOOOHHH! I'll have to visit. You'll have to wait till it's at least halfway back from oblivion. It's been down for a couple of hours now.
Goodfella25 Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 I don't mean to sound ungrateful here, because I do like Zubrus a lot, but like many of us, I really wanted us to get Smyth. And to see him go for so little makes me even more mad. I wonder if Darcy will mention anything as to why the asking price was too high for us...
IKnowPhysics Posted February 27, 2007 Author Report Posted February 27, 2007 Three first round draft picks for an unrestricted free agent that we would have trouble resigning leaves me unmoved about not trading for him. That said, Smyth is my favorite non-Sabre, and I would have loved to see him here for the right trade.
