wjag Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 One thing is clear, Toronto is more experienced, but Buffalo is flat out faster..
rickshaw Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 How does this team continue to win? Wow!
Eric in Akron Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 Yeah I think the NHL play-by-play guy left as well.
FogBat Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 and there goes the toronto fans... what a sweet game! I can only listen to the game on XM. Is the ACC beginning to empty out?
Rock DJ Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 I can only listen to the game on XM. Is the ACC beginning to empty out? Yeah. Just Sabre jerseys and the beer man left.
MBD Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 Clarke McArthur makes it 6-1! Damn these rooks are friggin' impressive!
wjag Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 MacArthur beat Aubin to collect his second goal of the season and third point of the night Buffalo:       Toronto: :death:
Samson's Flow Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 Yeah. Just Sabre jerseys and the beer man left. wow i was only guessing - i only got WGR feed. how about MacArthur and his 3 pt game?!? amazing job boys
Rock DJ Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 Just incredible. I never would have thought this team could do this. I was just hoping for a win tonite. Then when I heard Briere was out, I was really hoping they could just make a game out of it. But WOW WOW WOW WOW. For those that keep wanting to chastise Darcy.... :nana:
Knightrider Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 Injuries, schminjuries, 6-1 Stafford is a beast, and MacArthur isn't far behind him... Take your time, Max and Al...
HopsGuy Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 Hey you guys! Who Are You? The Kids Are Alright. Won't Get Fooled Again.
MBD Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 Then again, as RJ said, it's the 3rd game in 4 nights for the Loafs and they lost a heartbreaker last night. Still though...
Rock DJ Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 Then again, as RJ said, it's the 3rd game in 4 nights for the Loafs and they lost a heartbreaker last night. Still though... Still... is right. I'm too lazy to do the math, but 4 out of our top 5 scorers, 5 out of our top 7 are out? I mean, I was just hoping that we could get a PP SHOT on goal, let alone putting the puck in the net.
carpandean Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 I think Lindy should have put Hecht out on the 5-on-3.
thesportsbuff Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 I think Miller really took Darcy's "it's all on Ryan now" comment to heart. He played great tonight.
MBD Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 I think Miller really took Darcy's "it's all on Ryan now" comment to heart. He played great tonight. The way the Sabres play, they sometimes hang their goalie, whether Ryan or Marty it didn't matter, out to dry and they've mostly responded. Will they have to change that when Conklin plays?
wjag Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 12 of 17 skaters have at least one point tonight for the Sabres. Miller was outstanding. Someone tell me how a team missing 9 starters and both captains score 6 goals? This season is definitely special. Buffalo has the points lead at least temporarily.. Bad news is NJ and Ottawa both won tonight...
Rock DJ Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 NJ won again tonite. No ground gained there.
Alaska Darin Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 12 of 17 skaters registered a point. Kudos to Darcy and company for putting together such a solid organization and to Mr. Golisano for letting them do it. I can't think of another team that would have pulled off what our boys did tonight. That was something and this has been some journey.
carpandean Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 A little deja vu for some of our boys: http://amerks.com/PressReleases.aspx?news_id=1078 (Note: Amerk's website is slow tonight)
FogBat Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 Yeah. Just Sabre jerseys and the beer man left. Good for us :D , but sad for them :bag: .
IKnowPhysics Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 I'm convinced. Everything we draft is gold.
MBD Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 I'm convinced. Everything we draft is gold. It's not the draft, per se. ;)
Braedon Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 I freaking love Kaleta's play. The kid has laid out some big names in the past 3 games. And the coolest thing is he picks his checks, he's not sloppy like piece of S%&T 25 (doesn't deserve a name) from OTT. Who knows how long they can keep this up, but I'm loving the ride.
