HopsGuy Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 Nice pick up of the 'bound for Pomminstein (a 2nd-year guy we really need to step up). Danny is out with the flu, so I imagine there is no captain tonight. Must be quiet on that bench without Marty chirping away.
FogBat Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 Pomminstein puts a rebound past Raycroft Buffalo:  Toronto: Hmmm. Ponikarovsky is going to the sin bin. That's a small place to practice his golf swing.
will Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 Must be quiet on that bench without Marty chirping away. jeezis, you guys are depressing me.
MBD Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 Hmmm. Ponikarovsky is going to the sin bin. That's a small place to practice his golf swing. I'm surprised it can fit his name.
FogBat Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 Think Zubrus will make it to the game? How much would he play without practicing with the team? My sister in law is a Caps fan. She's depressed that we picked up Zubby. On the other hand, her boyfriend told her that Helbling isn't much to write home about.
MBD Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 On the other hand, her boyfriend told her that Helbling isn't much to write home about. ...yet. ;)
FogBat Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 I'm surprised it can fit his name. lol rotf I'm surprised it can fit his name. You should have heard Phil Esposite pronounce Ponikarovsky on his "In the Slot" program on Home Ice. It was quite a trip.
bob_sauve28 Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 Why am I thinking that if the Sabres win there will be firings in Toronto just like happened to Philly after we clocked them 9-1? :D This team is just unbelievable!
Crestwood Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 SCOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRE!!! Stafford needs to stay. He is an NHL hockey player, and a good one at that.
wjag Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 Stafford out hustled Toronto around the back of the net and pushed it home.. Buffalo:   Toronto:
UnionAMG Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 I can't believe nobody else picked up on this. But I just realize that the Toronto is wearing their whites at home (and we are obv wearing darks). I knew the NHL was giong to make a rule change next year so that Division games would have home whites-road darks.... but didnt hear anything about them doing it this year. Anybody know whats up? Anyways, I really like the idea of home whites!
FogBat Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 SCOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRE!!! Stafford needs to stay. He is an NHL hockey player, and a good one at that. Well, since you mention that, I'm getting the game feed from the Leaves. They even made mention of Stafford not going back down to Rochester.
Doohicksie Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 Does anyone else like Kaleta???? :)
wjag Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 Do you believe? Roy rips a rebound past Raycroft.. Toronto is storming the ice and Buffalo leads 3-0... Incredible.. Buffalo:    Toronto:
Samson's Flow Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 these guys never cease to amaze me. this was a game i didnt think they were going to win... and what do you know were dominating (on the scoreboard) GO SABRES!!!
Doohicksie Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 I just described the game like this to my son (who's kind of watching and kind of doing homework): Toronto's kicking Buffalo's butt, but every time Buffalo gets a chance to score, they're burying it. I'm gonna miss Marty, but I hope these are the Sabres we're gonna see in the playoffs.

FogBat Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 Now I'm hearing that Gill took out Ryan. Where's Petey?
ThePebble19 Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 ...yet. ;) I've seen him play in Hershey a couple of times this year...solid player, but nothing outstanding.
wjag Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 Ponakrovsky beats Miller stick side after Toronto pens Buffalo in their zone forever. Toronto's pressure is unrelenting.. Buffalo:    Toronto: :death:
Knightrider Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 Now I'm hearing that Gill took out Ryan. Where's Petey? Ryan bounced right back up, and continued play...
FogBat Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007    :death: "Poni, poni, poni-kaaa, rovsky. I gotta try that again". Phil Esposito.
