Corp000085 Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 Well, I was wondering how Montreal would score their one for the night. i've never seen such a dominant goalie, in miller, not have at least one shutout. its crazy
hopeleslyobvious Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 I want that sweater. Bad. Didn't Kramer wear that? Shortie for Munreal. How many SHGA this year? Lorentz: "Miller had no chance." :) You thought he did have a chance?
Knightrider Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 (edited) Dumont Scores!! Check that, it was Roy... Edited February 8, 2006 by Knightrider
hopeleslyobvious Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 What a reach by Roy on that goal!
Corp000085 Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 yet another late-in-period goal. this team is so good its scary
Stoner Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 You thought he did have a chance? I didn't see it. It's just a dumb thing Lorentz says all the time -- except about the opposing goalie. Late goal! Sweet. Maybe I'm paranoid, but over the years it seems like it's always the other team to get one with a few seconds left. Nice to see us get one! P.S. Rick sounds fine!
mphs mike Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 3-1 Sabres. Pominville, Roy and Max with goals. Instead of the post I guess we can look forward to JPom putting it in the net in the third! I missed the first but I can't believe the Habs dominated the way they did and we took the lead. Hopefully the last second goal will completely demoralize them.
Corp000085 Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 they're really propping up briere for a return either thursday or saturday...

I noticed we seem to give up the late goals too. I like when Rick told the 21,000 Montreal Fans that they were wrong. Haha! They are pretty brutal. They boo any call against them, no matter how blatent.

Corp000085 Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 they're stupid, but they do love their team... did i mention that all french canadians are stupid?? stupid, soft, and very homosexual just kidding, by the way
Knightrider Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 they're stupid, but they do love their team... did i mention that all french canadians are stupid?? stupid, soft, and very homosexual How can they not be? They speak French... ;)
mphs mike Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 they're stupid, but they do love their team... did i mention that all french canadians are stupid?? stupid, soft, and very homosexual And I thought the French Connection came from the movie!
hopeleslyobvious Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 The other one that drives me nuts (Devils fans do it too) is this: Montreal player has no one between him and the puck which is 20-30 feet away, and the fans go nuts like they are going to have a breakaway, despite the fact that a defenseman is back and much closer to the puck. Ok, I did the worst job articulating that, does everyone know what I mean.
JujuFish Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 3-1 Sabres. Pominville, Roy and Max with goals. Looks like you're 2 for 3 so far.

Ok, I did the worst job articulating that, does everyone know what I mean. yes. i think we had those feelings when our savior QB threw for 100 yards and passed to his 300lb tight end converted to RT against the 2-14 texans and thought it was the beginning of the dynasty.
hopeleslyobvious Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 Ha, speaking of the Devils...according to the score right before the break, we're beating them 2-1.
Corp000085 Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 crap. 2-2 on a kovalev breakaway with 3 minutes left
hopeleslyobvious Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 That's usually when Miller is at his best. That really woke up the crowd.
hopeleslyobvious Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 Is that a no goal call going our way?
Corp000085 Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 lorentz says it is a goal. to me, i'd say no goal because of the gesture that guy made towards the puck.
hopeleslyobvious Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 Yeah, looked to me like he chest butt it in.
Corp000085 Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 the longer it goes, the worse it gets for the sabres.
