LabattBlue Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 Biron or Miller starting? Doesn't matter...Sabres win 4-1.
hopeleslyobvious Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 Good question. If Biron is getting a start before the break, it's tonight.
pacpie Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 Miller's starting tonight. That changes my thoughts on the game. I thought this was a dangerous game for the Sabres because of that big win against the Sens on Saturday and the possibility of Biron being cold if he started. They've had enough time to forget about it, I hope and will punish the Habs tonight.
hopeleslyobvious Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 What's the source on that? All of us with fantasy hockey teams would appreciate it!
Two or less Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 3-1 Sabres. Pominville, Roy and Max with goals.
GGM Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 The Sabres will play Ruff's (solid) game style and secure that all-important road point before going after the winner. Huet's hotness will likely continue. Montreal wins 3-2 in OT.
hopeleslyobvious Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 I disagree. I think if it goes to OT, the Sabres are going to win. Miller has been at his best in high pressure situations this year...Breakaways, overtimes, shootouts. I expect that to continue if the game goes into OT tonight. If Biron is in net, then I could see an OT loss...

I'm sure Miller will play well, but Rory will be in the lineup tonight, so I expect Les Habitants to have more than a few good scoring chances. All that being said, the Sabres are still a better team, so maybe we pull this one out.

I think it is going to be a low scoring game either way. 1 could be enough for either team tonight.
JujuFish Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 I know I shouldn't, but right now I expect no less than a win over Montreal. Be it in overtime or regulation, I will be disappointed, unless Huet has an unbelievable night, or something happens a la the Rangers game and Biron has to come in cold, if the Sabres do not win tonight. That said, 4-1 Sabres.
The_Swannie_House Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 Go Sabres.......F the HABS......anyways.....Check This Out.....how nice would it be rolling in the HSBC with this badboy on!!!!!
JujuFish Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 FYI, Miller is 12-3 with a 1.79 GAA and .936SV% since returning from injury.
hopeleslyobvious Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 Pyatt is having another strong game.
Knightrider Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 That Peca trade is looking better and better... Pyatt hasn't had a bad game since he has been back...

hopeleslyobvious Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 Both goalies look great. Nice breakaway save by Miller.
Corp000085 Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 0-0 after one. i came back from class halfway through the first, and the sabres looked really good. There were a couple defensive letdowns at the end of the period, but you can't have everything. Again, USA Vezina Miller is on tonight. Unfortunately, so is the montreal goalie, so it will take a great play to get one up on these guys. Hopefully peters is implicated in this gambling ring. That'd be an easy way to get him off the ice.
Corp000085 Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 SCOOOOOOOOOOOOORES! mad on a bachand, on the PP
Stoner Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 Go Sabres.......F the HABS......anyways.....Check This Out.....how nice would it be rolling in the HSBC with this badboy on!!!!! I want that sweater. Bad. Didn't Kramer wear that? Shortie for Munreal. How many SHGA this year? Lorentz: "Miller had no chance." :)
letsgobuffalo45 Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 Terrible break down at the blue line, Montreal shorthanded goal... cmon fellas
Corp000085 Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 hasek might have stopped that shot... other than that, it was on brian campbell
Taro T Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 Well, I was wondering how Montreal would score their one for the night.
