Monkeygirl Posted February 21, 2007 Report Posted February 21, 2007 Sounds like a good idea to me. I mean, they can still practice, have some no-contact drills and do a lot of off-ice workouts....not the tough workouts of course. Any thoughts? What else can they do to keep at least 6 guys unscathed until the beginning of the playoffs?
bob_sauve28 Posted February 21, 2007 Report Posted February 21, 2007 Ya, lol. That would save at least 22 broken bones. Hey, hopefully we are getting injuries out of the way now
ExiledInIllinois Posted February 21, 2007 Report Posted February 21, 2007 Believe it or not... Low 90's in points MIGHT get you in the playoffs!... They don't play the last 22 and THEY MISS THE playoffs with 85 points... I am serious... They can't just salt this season away and hope to go to the playoffs... There are 22 games and 44 points at stake... Just to clinch, the Sabres "magic number"... RIGHT no is at over 100 points... Which will sure to lower... Nothing is taken for granted... Even leading the leagues late in Feb...
Monkeygirl Posted February 21, 2007 Author Report Posted February 21, 2007 Uh huh, uh huh, I know. I want to see them get the president's trophy so that we're guaranteed home ice throughout, but this is crazy. Hopefully, we'll be laughing about it in June..... "Remember when they kept getting hurt....ha ha ha....silly us overreacting....going 16-0 in the playoffs sure did make up for all that...ha ha ha. " :::as we pour champagne over our fellow humans in celebration:::
