McJeff215 Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 They just announced on the radio that Huet is out with a torn hamstring. He had surgery and sounds like he is done for a long time... Kotalik will not return.. Lower body injury... Was reported to be walking... Kotalik now? WTF?
Samson's Flow Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 come on lets get a fourth powerplay goal to jump ahead in this crazy game... :D :D :D
wjag Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 Ugh,.... Finishing the period in the box. Come on guys hang on to get one point.
McJeff215 Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 Ugh,.... Finishing the period in the box. Come on guys hang on to get one point. 5 on 3.... nice. Penalty free most of the game, too.
HopsGuy Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 5 on 3.... nice. Penalty free most of the game, too. Exactly... disciplined my butt.
McJeff215 Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 Well that's a point boys..... I'm getting sick of OT!
Samson's Flow Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 and were going to OOOVVVEERRTIIIMEEE way to hold on for a point. now lets kill it and improve that overtime/SO record
McJeff215 Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 No Kotalik and no Max for the SO... Stafford's getting a go. Stafford's getting a go. And he lost control... ...Wow.. what a shoot out.....
GrimFandango Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 Heart..... Beating.... Fast....
McJeff215 Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 Heart..... Beating.... Fast.... This is insane... 16th shooter coming up.
Strow Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 whats the record? It was that ranger caps game right?
McJeff215 Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 This is insane... 16th shooter coming up. :censored:
Samson's Flow Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 :censored: indeed terrible way to end a great shootout
Peace Frog Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 Yeah, it sucks. But I'll take the point against a team that was outplaying us for most of the game.
BRH Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 Of course, if we'd had Al and Max this game would have been over long before the 16th shooter. I'll take the point. Boston getting two points doesn't matter; they're done anyway.
SabreInFla Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 Damn...what a weak goal to end a great shootout. At least we got a point, but in many ways that is a game that we gotta get two out of. The injuries have me pretty worried.....not that Kotalik is critical but I think the compound effect is going to be a factor. Is anybody else thinking that Max may not come back this season? Even though many may interpret Regier's comments to mean no trade..I think otherwise. As a side note...what would be the date the playoffs begin? The optimistic way to look at the injuries (yes this may be a stretch) would be to think that Spacek, Max, Kotalik, Timmy(if this happens) and Novotny come back rejuvanated for the playoff run.
Claude Balls Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 What scares me is that if this team doesn't start playing better, it's going to be a short playoff season. Remember, there are no shootouts in the playoffs. I would hate to see too many OT games.
JujuFish Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 Well that's upsetting, but at least we got a point.
RayFinkle Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 Even though many may interpret Regier's comments to mean no trade..I think otherwise. I actually took his comments to mean there may be a trade or two in the works. Time will tell....
Claude Balls Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 I think they should bring up Ryan in place of Peters on the left wing. Ryan had 3g, 1a tonight against Syracuse. Peters played 1 stinkin shift. Let's get someone up here who can at least skate and maybe contribute some offense.
HopsGuy Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 I think they should bring up Ryan in place of Peters on the left wing. Ryan had 3g, 1a tonight against Syracuse. Peters played 1 stinkin shift. Let's get someone up here who can at least skate and maybe contribute some offense. Hard to argue with that. Especially with Hecht and Mair dropping the gloves tonight. Peters would need to add all kinds of hockey skills just to reach the level of that master player Peter Worrell.
Ogie Oglethorpe Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 I think they should bring up Ryan in place of Peters on the left wing. Unfortunately, I think it'll be to replace Kotalik instead of Peters. Based on Lindy's press conference it sounds like Al is out for a little bit... he was pretty non-committal, but it didn't sound likely that he'd be on the ice by Tues.
