SDS Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 this shows you where the goals are scored....
DWarner Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 Nice, but it doesn't represent the 0.0001% of goals that actually go through the netting and count as goals.
wjag Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 So I guess this implies that the stick side and low is the place to be. Be interesting to see how this compares with penalty shots and breakaways..
BuffalOhio Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 So I guess this implies that the stick side and low is the place to be. Be interesting to see how this compares with penalty shots and breakaways.. It's always been the place to be. Kind of like, Green Acres. HA!
SDS Posted February 13, 2007 Author Report Posted February 13, 2007 It's always been the place to be. Kind of like, Green Acres. HA! the 73% stick side is what caught my attention.
shrader Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 the 73% stick side is what caught my attention. Which is exactly why I hate being a right handed shot. There aren't as many opportunities to hit that side of the net.

Gotta use the Kotalik backhand move, Shrader. That's what I do! It works very well against goalies of our caliber. Also, to shoot stick side low, come across the goalie from your right to left, then slide the puck with a hard wrister towards the left post. He's moving from his right to left, and it's almost impossible for him to defend stick side low at that point. I've scored a lot of goals with that move, too.
Taro T Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 It's always been the place to be. Kind of like, Green Acres. HA! Wait a second. Are you telling me ALL GOALIES get beat where you claim Miller's exposed weakness lies? :o Shall we file this under "things that make you go hmmmm".

I think you mean from left to right... or in other words come from your off wing...
eball Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 Interesting. It sure does seem like more than 1 in 11 go through the five-hole, though...

See, if I actually had any speed at all, I might be in a situation where that would come in handy.
