norfend Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 On HDNET this week... Damn you blackout rules!!!!  :death:
BuffalOhio Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 I'm wondering if it will be worth it to listen to Larry Murphy mumble and bumble and talk about nothing. OK, it's HD, so it's worth it. Don't tell me to listen to RJ on WGR550.com, because I have to Tivo the game and watch the 2nd and 3rd after I get home from playing hockey myself.
Realist Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 I believe Center Ice has the Buffalo feed, I can't stand the HDNet guys. I'll sacrifice the picture to listen to RJ.
wjag Posted February 13, 2007 Author Report Posted February 13, 2007 I believe Center Ice has the Buffalo feed, I can't stand the HDNet guys. I'll sacrifice the picture to listen to RJ. Not me. I want the picture. And I think I read somewhere that they will be in their traditional uniforms.
eball Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 Not me. I want the picture. And I think I read somewhere that they will be in their traditional uniforms. I'm with you, dude. The friggin' Queen of England can be the commentator for all I care. There's nothing like hockey in HD.
nfreeman Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 I'm with you, dude. The friggin' Queen of England can be the commentator for all I care. There's nothing like hockey in HD. absolutely. this is a no-brainer.
ncsabre Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 I hear you all. They are not on HD much so when they are I will be watching the HD feed. No brainer at all. I will have the MSG feed on the other tuner so I can go back and watch the goal calls by RJ anyway.
Two or less Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 I wouldn't trade a RJ telecast for HD..... that's just silly.
nfreeman Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 On HDNET this week... wjag -- where is this info coming from? HDNet's website says they are showing the leafs tomorrow night.

ExiledInIllinois Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 I wouldn't trade a RJ telecast for HD..... that's just silly. HD before HD? RJ=Original HD I knew RJ I was friends with RJ... HD, you are NO RJ!
nfreeman Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 I hate to belabor the point, but my channel guide on DirecTV shows toronto vs. philly on HDNet tonight, not the Sabres game. Anybody else have a similar situation?
wjag Posted February 15, 2007 Author Report Posted February 15, 2007 I hate to belabor the point, but my channel guide on DirecTV shows toronto vs. philly on HDNet tonight, not the Sabres game. Anybody else have a similar situation? Yeah mine now shows the Leafs.. Must have been updated overnight... I guess Buffalo versus Edmonton doesn't pull the ratings that Toronto versus Philly would.. We've been robbed.
BuffalOhio Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 I'm glad I saw that. I guess I'll have to check the Tivo and make sure it records the game. If I can't get HD, then RJ can make up for the SD picture for sure!
