The Habs have bounced back to a 4-2-0 start after shaking off the lockout ennui with an opening day home loss to the Leafs. Defenseman Andrei Markov is off to a hot start, with 8 points in his last 5 games, including 4 goals. Carey Price is holding the fort well, surrendering fewer than 2.00 goals per 60 minutes to complement a 4-1-0 record. Will Vanek continue his scorching start? More importantly, could the Sabres survive if his line has an off day?

The Habs just suffered a tough 2-1 loss to the Bruins last night. Can the Sabres get out of this ugly funk against one of the Eastern Conference's Leaders? Sabres GAA of 3.7 is the worst in the NHL. http://www.nhl.com/i...avid=sb:preview -
Season series: On Nov. 5, the Montreal Canadiens defeated the Buffalo Sabres 2-1 in a shootout. PA Parenteau scored in the third period, and then ended the game with a goal in the third round of the tiebreaker. Sabres goalie Jonas Enroth and Canadiens goalie Dustin Tokarski each made 31 saves in regulation and overtime. Montreal and Buffalo will play the back end of their home-and-home Saturday at Bell Centre.
