It's sad when I read your post that as soon as I got to the bolded I immediately thought, "Have they created a new trophy for the most oft injured player in the league?" No joke. I am officially broken.

They showed a crowd shot and it's surprising to me to see kids in Sabres gear. Their parents are doing those poor kids no favors. I'm amazed that anyone under the age of 30 is actually a Sabres fan at this point.

Considering they've only scored two goals in over seven and a half periods of hockey, that optimism seems like a stretch. I hope you're right.
