  1. loose and lose.
  2. When Nolan was here as coach we regularly gave up over 40 a game. I'll say over a bit.
  3. Anyone else curious as why Nolan came in as interim coach? I understand he wants back in NHL but seems odd he would accept a job for a few months with no promises. I think that the new GM will keep him on. If they wanted a coach for just the rest of the year they could have promoted Sacco, right? Just a thought.
  4. Team had no direction After a win? 4th win of the year where they still played like crap? LaFontaine will hire the GM. Should be ok to do that. Not a big fan of Nolan but guessing he's temporary. Rolston had to go.
  5. Oh, sorry. Probably some of the kids who aren't ready to Rochester.
  6. His teams regularly gave up 40 shots a game so some things won't change.
  7. Interesting that he would come in as interim coach
  8. He was an ok coach with Hasek as his goalie.
  9. Yep, he just said he has a short list
  10. You're right. Not yet.
  11. Hope he's gets it right
  12. Why? Who's the new GM?
  13. When Nolan was coach we regularly gave up over 40 shots a game so he'll fit right in.
  14. Those teams are successful because of the GM and coach. What does Neely do in Boston? Bruins have high quality GM and coach that run the team. If Darcy is not in charge who makes the personnel moves? If he is not in charge of the on ice team why is he still GM?
  15. So Pegula hires someone to fire Regier?
  16. Big deal. Unless it's a new GM and coach what good does it do? Make some fans happy who love LaFontaine?
  17. Unless it's about Rolston, Regier or Miller this shouldn't be called major.
  18. I don't know. That's why I'm asking. Has he ever run a hockey operation before, been a scout, GM....?
  19. What qualifies LaFontaine as President of Hockey Operations?
  20. Just missed it. Carpenter said so himself. He wanted to kick out of endzone.
  21. he could still sell the team
  22. Guessing or hoping? Just because he has money doesn't mean he knows how to run a sports franchise. So far it's not looking that great. In the salary cap era with a rich owner, there is no reason to be this bad. It's bad management.
