That's a lazy take. Adams has been GM long enough to be able to find quality goaltending. There's enough talent and scoring to be a playoff team with just decent goaltending...

This is more fun. I'm old enough to remember when penalties were just not called in the 3rd period. If you had a 2 goal lead going in to the 3rd it was pretty much a win.

It's a bit different because they are trying to add talent more than getting rid of it. There are times we look really good. Having said that, I don't have the optimism of some saying be patient, the team is growing and leaning to win. It's just not there right now.
