  1. Does anyone else look at the coach in the Geico walrus commercial and think "Darcy Regier"?
  2. Showing the labels for the puckhandlers during the power play is st00pid and annoying.
  3. This is an early game, huh? Just realized that. So I guess I owe you all this: Was it a good goal? Gosh I wish I coulda seen it.
  4. The Jazz were named for their original home, New Orleans.
  5. Well yeah, there's no hope of current Sabres win the Cup any time soon.
  6. On the other hand, Mitts for Saros (and pieces to make it work)....
  7. I think I saw it in a tweet or something in the last couple weeks, that Sabres mgt hasn't even approached his agent.
  8. Yep. As much as I like the guy's story, he's proven this season that he's not NHL caliber.
  9. McDaniels is moron who favors flash over substance, but I understand the point you're trying to make.
  10. And Bryson. You forgot his homie Bryson. Supposedly they haven't even approached him in contract talks this year.
  11. If this is true, Kevyn is a moron. If it's not, Peters is a moron. I think it's Peters.
  12. No it has to be a slur. The SLC Fighting Missionaries? I dunno, help me out here. The Caffeinated Missionaries?
  13. It's a big city that's not a big city. (We'll be reaching a million in the next near or two.)
  14. I get what issue you're think you're trying to discuss, but you said, and I quote, "What choice does the customer have regarding the inflated bills due to an outdated system?" This question is wrong on two counts: Customers do have choice on how much they pay with the myriad companies and plans available, and bills are not inflated due to an outdated system. I know that's not the point you were trying to make, but I am simply responding to the words you wrote.
  15. Fort Worth. People in the state, on average, pays less than the average person in the U.S. I went back to find the exact article I quoted earlier, but found that the consumer price for a kilowatt hour compared to the national average, according to several different sources ranges from about 10% to 25% less. It appears to be increasing relative to the national average, but in my eyes that's a good thing; since the Big Freeze of 2021, there has been investment in electrical infrastructure and I don't mind paying more if it reduces outages in extreme conditions.
  16. I read the first post and thought for sure this would turn into a "Have you stopped beating your wife yet?" kind of argument. Sabrespace did not disappoint.
  17. I understand your sentence perfectly well, @Weave. What I don't understand is the problem @PASabreFan has with it.
  18. But for most of us, the bills are not, in fact, inflated, because of an outdated system or any other reason. Texans pays 25% less per kilowatt hour than the national average. The issue you brought up was about how much Texans pay, and that has everything to do with the "variety of companies that draw their electricity from the Texas grid."
  19. Dahlin is turning into Jack Eichel right in front of our eyes. He'll want out soon.
