  1. He's quickly becoming my favorite Sabre, and he barely scores. Sabres will win this one.
  2. I'm starting to like bosanova. It's just beautiful to me.
  3. That was Clifton doing what a defenseman is supposed to do in front of the net. Bleh. And here comes the CGY penalty.
  4. His line is doing a great job of tilting the ice toward the Calgary zone thought.
  5. I was going for Jeff Skinner's pronunciation in Between Two Stalls.
  6. Don't ask me. I don't make these calls.
  7. At least this one (likely) won't go past midnight for our friends on eastern time.
  8. Yeah, really they've all been fine as fourth liners but they're still just JAGs. McLeod may be a keeper at some level (middle six). Zucker is a short-timer based on his age but I've seen enough to say he can stay on as long as he wants to and continues to perform near the level we've seen so far.
  9. All three of these players were brought on as "temps" with no plans except that they be fourth liners. One or more may stick but I don't expect it.
  10. Lafferty was never going to be more than an expendable 4th line JAG.
  11. AI article written in French and translated to English or something? 😄
  12. In KC, I fully expect to overcome both the Chiefs and the refs. GO BILLS.
  13. Time to inject some Hopium into the forum's veins. If Rich Strike can do it, so can the Sabres.
  14. Vegas is sleeping on the Bills. They don't know (or refuse to Billieve)
  15. I think I mentioned a while ago (before Levi was brought up for one game) that I think Kozak is done with the AHL. Sure he's the easy forward to move if you need to juggle the roster, but I think at this point he's NHL-ready. He's got the hustle and drive and for a guy just getting his first taste of regular NHL play, he seems very good at not getting bullied around; there were a few times where he got checked hard in the corner but managed to stay on his feet and come away with the puck. He is also pretty speedy. I don't expect 20 goals out of him, but I do think he has the ability to tilt the ice toward the opposing goal. I also think that when it's all said and done, Krebs will be on this team for the long term, and that he will continue improve, albeit at an incremental pace from here on out. It also seems like JJP and Kulich are starting to build some chemistry. If we could get Tage, Cozens and Tuch to consistently play with as much heart & hustle as Krebs, Kulich and Kozak, we'd have a team.
