  1. Heheh. Heh. Heh. He said taint.
  2. *****'s getting real in Russia. Even if the drones aren't inflicting damage, having to activate anti-aircraft batteries in the capital city is not going to favor the war's popularity. Moscow sees one of Ukraine’s largest drone attacks as fighting rages in Kursk and eastern Ukraine I also read a report from a Russian source that Ukrainian paratroopers have surrounded Russian soldiers defending Kursk. Ukrainian Paratroopers May Have Surrounded Russian Soldiers in Kursk
  3. Well it seems like this thread has overstayed its welcome.
  4. The funniest two and a half minutes in film.
  5. Okay, update: He apparently had his Patreon taken down by hackers. So I withdraw my original post. But if you like any content provider, consider supporting them.
  6. Any online legal records are gone. That's the problem.
  7. Yeah, and most of that was coming from his Patreon creator account which has vanished.
  8. EDIT: His Patreon was taken down by hackers but Patreon has resolved it. So basically, Patreon did a migration and lost data from several of their members, including The Hockey Guy. So he's lost a major portion of his income stream. I'm a member of his YouTube channel and he posted a members only video about this. I know some of you watch and enjoy his videos. If you've ever considered supporting him financially, you can become a member of his YouTube channel for $2 per month. This would be a really good time. I have no other stake in this other than I enjoy his content and want him to be able to continue generating his independent content. Mods: If a post like this violates any forum rules, feel free to delete this thread.
  9. Funny, it doesn't look like Jason....
  10. A nightmare is a dream too...
  11. Is it a move to genuinely improve his team, or is it more an effort to put a divisional rival over a barrel?
  12. I've got a tube just in case. Don't really trust the tubeless just yet. And yes I've used the dollar bill trick before. Sure, lots of places to ride in Fort Worth. To start there is the Trinity Trail system along the Trinity River. The river was rechanneled by the Army Corps of Engineers in the 1950s/60s70s after major flooding in the 1940s. The old work roads along the river from that effort are now bicycle trails. Some sections are fully paved in blacktop or concrete, some are fine packed gravel. I've ridden pretty much all of it on road bike tires. Plus there are other places to ride and also maybe group rides you might be able to join (especially if you're here on a weekend). Send me a message and we can discuss further.
  13. Seriously, Floyd Smith... Seymor Knox dropping the puck... and Jean Beliveau?
  14. No, I'll let them stick with the names they have.
  15. Can the Sabres trade Skinner's buyout? 😉
  16. Nope, hadn't heard of those yet. Intriguing. My new bike has tubeless tires. I wonder what it will be like when I get a puncture. Supposedly small holes self-seal with the sealant inside the tire. For larger holes I have a plug kit that can quickly inject a plug in a hole, and yes I have a coupla CO2 cartridges to fill the tire afterward.
  17. I'm not quite up for that. I've reached an age where bones take way too long to heal. You had an ankle problem, right? Cycling is much lower impact than running.
  18. I went to buy a road bike, ended up going for a gravel bike. It just felt more "me". Loving it so far.
