Shake & Bake!

Funny thing about that 8 game power play goal streak: One of them was a meaningless goal scored with 0.1 seconds left in the game.

A break!

That's gonna be called on sides.

Off Cozens. Again.

How many straight games have the Sabres lost? I wish they would say on the broadcast...

Welp.

Was that actually a hook? I didn't see a hook.

Cozens: PING

Wow, did Rayzer give him some tips during his tenure here?

Then it's probably not fair to hold Sabres management accountable to it. In a year or two there will be a bunch of prospects busting down the door to the Sabres dressing room. I could see them moving several of Asplund, Mitts, Cozens, Olofsson, etc., to make room for them... that is, if the named players are not "part of the solution."

Not sure where you got that impression. It was never stated as such.

I'm thinking a 41-year-old goalie who missed significant time last year due to injury would not hold up long as an every day starter. I think Granato thinks the same thing.

You can still get the bundle. They'll just prorate the payments to account for your previous subscription. It's what we did last year.

No, logic says if you play him too much he will break down and won't be available for the full season.

So to me the interesting bit is who is the next Dman sent down? I bet it's Pilut and they keep Clague up.

I would have expected him to play in the second half of the back-to-back to get some fresh legs on the ice. -

I'm thinking switching up the lines didn't help. I think Donny picked this game to do it because he figured even if they were off a bit they could still win. He figured wrong. The question becomes, then, did switching up the lines help at all and will it help in the future? I'm not optimistic for the rest of this week but we'll see. It will also be interesting to see how much of this is on the absence of both Joki and Muel. When they were in and playing it seemed pretty obvious that the strong offense we were seeing was a direct result of a defense that could rapidly turn the play up ice. There was also excellent gap control. We're not seeing that currently. -

The way the Coyotes won that game is not sustainable. Unfortunately that matters not to the Sabres.
