  1. I don't know... it's been so long, not sure what we can or cannot do.
  2. All that gives me is a pop-up to buy Fubo.
  3. I follow both Dionne and Gritty on twitter. Dionne is a class act. And Gritty is a treasure, even if he's not Buffalo's treasure.
  4. No, in beer league you do this
  5. So glad he didn't pull me over. My wife never gave me the latest insurance card; the old one expired last week 😮 I also noticed my drivers license is about to expire. I was lucky; I was able to renew and get a temporary license online. Texas is funny in that every other time they make you go in person (which means setting an appointment several months out). My son is in limbo right now because of that; his license expired in July. But with the Real ID requirements, you have to have your birth certificate or a current passport, a note from your mom, a tail hair from a unicorn and two exactly identical sand particles. My son couldn't find his birth cert and doesn't hold a current passport, so he couldn't get his license renewed at the appointment he made. He's waiting for his birth cert from Los Angeles (where he was born) and has to go again after it comes in.
  6. All I can say is I'm looking forward to the Bills D-line getting all up in Rogers' grille.
  7. Those guys are like Flounder and Pinto visiting Omega Theta Pi in Animal House.
  8. As much as I like to dispute your pessimism, I won't even argue that point.
  9. The NE defense looked terrible last night. Gave the receivers too much cushion and Rogers took advantage. They just looked marshmallow soft.
  10. I tried the find the silver lining but I think I had him pegged from the outset:
  11. Did you know that guy, Kyle Chandler, is from Buffalo?
  12. The Pats' defense his as firm as room temperature butter.
  13. I can't argue with you, but he's also his own worst enemy.
  14. It was a good breakdown but honestly, these guys who do these videos are so choppy with the replays- start-stop-reset-start-stop-startstop-start-etc., it's just hard to watch. Showing the whole play every slightly slowed down at the start of the analysis would be wonderful.
  15. 16 years as coach is just too long for any NHL team. The Sabres needed a change of coach and Lindy needed a change of scenery. If you look back far enough you can see me saying, "Lindy's been through so much with this team he deserves to stay as long as he wants to" and later "He's lost the room, it's time to go." I still think I was right on both occasions and I'm sure Lindy is well aware of what's on the line both for him personally and for the franchise. I think he's up to the task. I really do.
  16. I was thinking more along the lines of
  17. Two scenarios: We have two strong leaders, both which are fit to be captain, so let's have co-captains. We have no clear cut leader so what the heck, let's have co-captains. Drury/Briere were scenario #1. Dahlin/Tuch might be either one. Hard to say.
  18. Finnish guys too. I guess it's a Scandinavian thing.
  19. Or maybe it's because he's Swedish. Swedish dudes always look pissed.
  20. @Thorny explained to me that's not how it works.
  21. My point is Lindy and staff have ample window to adjust the system to his absence and give the players a chance to get lots of reps at these positions (Top Pairing, PP, PK). I have no concern that Dahlin needs all those reps to prepare. He might just need a game or two to adjust once he's back but he knows all that stuff and knows it well.
  22. We who are familiar with last years team would tend to agree. But there's a new coach and several new players. If one of the additions really sets the tone in training camp, maybe Lindy gives him a letter.
