  1. Hahaha. That was our theme song in college... our fraternity had a fire and yes, we were Burning Down the House!
  2. My source was probably Sabrespace. 😉 I'm pretty sure I read this way back when on Sabrespace. 😉
  3. My source was probably Sabrespace. 😉
  4. Supposedly once Eichel heard another rebuild was coming he wanted out, so no... trading Eichel was integral with the rebuild.
  5. The way I read that looking back from the Eichel trade is KA wanted Eichel out but TPegs wasn't ready to let go of him yet and told him to make it work with Eichel, so bringing in some so-called help for Eich was an honest attempt to make the Eichel build work and make his boss happy. The reason I don't think KA didn't want Eichel was that he signed Reinhart to a one year bridge deal instead of locking him up long term, with indicated to me that Kevyn was preparing for a rebuild.
  6. Putting Reino on a second bridge deal (of only one year) was the beginning of the end of the Eichel era. We were all frustrated and blamed it on Eichel wanting out but I'm not sure that happens if Reino is signed long term. That was the beginning of the unraveling of the first post-tank rebuild.
  7. I still read that as his spidey senses are tingling. "I feel more confident than not a change could be coming" That guy is creepy enough; I don't need an AI animation of him.
  8. Oh come on! JJP is a whole .0086 point per game better than Doan!
  9. Cop out. Fix it now, Sabres.
  10. I think since he's still in place, it's his way of giving Adams an "Incomplete" grade. If it were rewritten next week after Adams gets canned *fingers crossed*, maybe they move him to Number 1.
  11. Context of what "Nvm on most of this" was referring to: "I've heard nothing concrete" "Nvm"
  12. Terry's thinking... "Well that's one way to get a new arena" and prepares Adams' next contract.
  13. Meh.
  14. I can think of reasons. Maybe the want to change the makeup of the lines toward tenacious play. Or maybe they plan on using him on the fourth line and with Kozak, Krebs and/or Malenstyn moving up to a different line.
  15. Once the genie is out of the bottle, you're not getting him back in.
  16. Lyon's leg was hooked/impeded by an Oiler just prior to the tying goal at 19:59 and he was out of position because of it. But, y'know, that's legal if McJesus's team does it I guess.
  17. I don't think Krebs is a first liner by any stretch of the imagination, but he injected some good energy into Tage's line tonight.
