  1. Except if they think Demko in particular is someone they want to target, he's available now and likely won't be this summer. I'm sure Donny knows people who know him.
  2. I think if they acquire Demko, Comrie is going back in the trade. ...or not.
  3. That's when Boosh was injured and/or playing higher up the lineup when others were injured. That makes Bryson's +/- all the more damning.
  4. Part of the reason there was OJT at the NHL level is the Sabres really had nothing at the NHL level. They'd prematurely brought players up without finishing their development. If you look at the forwards in Rochester, because they will need to play their way onto the roster they will likely be more fully developed and will just need to adjust to full NHL speed.
  5. I've been to precisely 1 game this year. Just like most years. The game in Dallas. This year I met @Redneck there.
  6. I thought he was supposed to be more of a Missing Piece on a team that was already close.
  7. I dunno. Are Coles Notes anything like Cliff Notes? (asking for @matter2003)
  8. Eakin was more the voice in the wilderness.
  9. I have no specific information, but I can assure you he does.
  10. The situation reminds me of the 1990s Red Wings. They had their roster pretty well full but when something opened up they had a ripe prospect ready to seize a role. I think the Sabres will be like that for the next few years.
  11. Meh. He's no Tage Thompsonl. He's not even an Alex Tuch.
  12. A point behind the Sabres but the Sabres have three games in hand. Objects in rearview mirror are further than they appear.
  13. I disagree: Asplund with Kyle/Gus, Krebs with the kids. They had chemistry in Rochester.
  14. No but they could send UPL down on paper. You get any ice today?
  15. That's pretty much what Kevyn did with Tage, innit?
  16. This is EXACTLY what they did down the stretch last season, only this time it will mean something. But the last two months of last season the Sabres were knocking off all comers.
  17. You can always play coulda-woulda-shoulda, but remember that Eichel was out with a neck injury and wanted a surgery that had not yet been done on an NHLer. That was risk-risk-risk all around. Even if Tuch and Krebs settle down and Östlund doesn't amount to much, I don't think you can say that Kevyn could have, or should have, gotten more. He traded away a bunch of risk and a bunch of locker room crap and ended up with insane positive vibes.
