I be goin' a bit stir crazy meself. Drivin' me nutzo. On the plus side I was able to work a couple evenings this week which helped me get caught up... without missing any Sabres action. Plus I got my IKEA kitchen mostly designed.

I didn't realize there are that many Grigorenko jerseys out there...

I tend to have one current Sabres jersey. When that player leaves I eventually get one by another player, but there are gaps. I have a Perreault (bought long after he hung up the skates), a Stafford Slug, a Reino and a Tage. I wore the Sluggo to last year's game in Dallas.

@Brawndo lives three minutes in the future. I would have liked to see him on the Sabres at one point but the team has moved on and he's gotten older.

I would say that of all the Sabres, Jeff is the most clearly happy of them all. Every interview, even when the game didn't go well, he just has this contented calm about him. I don't mean he's complacent because the effort is there (it was there even when RFK put him on the fourth line). I think he does the best he can and his conscience is clear. He's happy. And it's the kind of happiness that rubs off on his teammates.

It doesn't matter who you propose to trade for Kane, it will be a case of a player on the rise going out from Buffalo to bring in a declining player who is already at JAG level.

Adams is like that. You can tell when he's not being totally honest. It was more frequent earlier in his tenure when he was in the Fake It Til You Make It phase of his career. Listen to him talk about Eichel before he had full buy-in from the Pegulas to move him. Very... uncomfortable. Although to be fair, at this point there isn't a ton he can do to control the Portillo situation.

His absolute floor is Okposo- great defensive forward, chips in offensively. His ceiling is much higher than that of course, but we've seen what kind of value has brought through his contract, even if he didn't score as much as was expected.
