  1. Who will score the last goal of the season if they trade Mitts?
  2. You heard me. I put the d wherever I wanted in Reinhartd.
  3. Exactly right. Look at Eich and Reino in the playoffs. Mitts will elevate in a similar fashion, I'm convinced of it. Getting rid of him when we're just entering our playoff window would be a poor move. Also, he provides high level forward depth even while he's contributing on the 3rd line. Lose 1C or 2C for a few games and the team doesn't miss a beat with Casey at the bat.
  4. Yeah, and Dreinhart has really become a good 2-way forward.
  5. (I miss those early, heady days when Redinhart was still fresh and clean and I used to insert the d where I wanted in the name of Rdeinhart.)
  6. You were criticizing Levi because he's not huge and, quoting you now, "It's not a small goalies game anymore." So if you like big goalies, UPL must be your guy, right? The point I was making, if you're still not getting is there are big goalies that aren't that good and smaller goalies that are. Have you caught up yet?
  7. There is SO a d in Reidnhart.
  8. No way that contract ages well.
  9. That's basically what Kevyn did in the Eichel trade. The price was 4 1st round equivs. He ended up getting Tuch, Krebs, Östlund and second rounder. Negotiation is a subtle art and you can't blame Briere for trying.
  10. It's always sunny there, innit?
  11. Don't worry, it's @Buffalonill. He doesn't know how to not be negative. He'll be at the Stanley Cup parade complaining how it's too sunny on the side of the street he's on. 😉
  12. Ah, you're thinking of Jesse's Girl. Jenny was sung by Tommy Tutone.
  13. Since when has that ever constrained discussion on Sabrespace?
  14. If I were Dahlin I would insist on 8 years x $8,675,309 and change his goal song to Jenny.
  15. Ah, so, UPL is definitely our guy then. Is that what you're saying? I would still say no to such a Power trade. Of course. That was GA's point.
  16. In first run, those puppets were very strange.
  17. You brainwashed lemming😛😀 If you look at everything Kevyn has said in general, and then the specifics of how he came to acquire Levi and his games in the NHL late in the season I think it is apparent that Kevyn is *not* trading Devon Levi. The sneak preview lived up to the billing and until the Sabres get a better look at what Levi brings there's no way they would move him. I'm not saying he's a guaranteed #1 goalie; I'm saying that he has a chance to be and a very good one at that, and Kevyn will do a full evaluation with extensive playing time for Levi before even considering pulling the plug on him.
  18. I'm not against acquiring Hellebuyck per se, but I wouldn't trade Levi for him.
  19. They *can* but I wouldn't expect them to. Recency bias with Anderson probably influences a belief that Helle would be fine but I just feel like while he might be a good "now" acquisition, I certainly wouldn't trade the team's apparent goaltending "future" for him.
  20. The Sabres are currently built around "what could be." They're built for the future. Hellebuyck will soon be in the past. Also if they trade away Levi they'll be regretting it in less than two years.
