  1. The end of the period was disastrous. That said, with the Caps on the second game in a back-to-back, they've shot their wad. Their legs will be dead in the third.
  2. Quinn hasn't scored but he's one of the three stars in my mind. He's been driving play.
  3. Their second shot of the period with less than 5 minutes to go.
  4. That was an elite play by Okie to fish the puck out, retain possession and slide it over to Girgs for the tap-in.
  5. I know a chain of events leads to every goal, but I've seen this so many times: Olofsson "covering the point" but by just doing a drive by and letting the point man do whatever the hell he wants. He did it there and the Caps scored. If he actually challenged the Dman that play never happens.
  6. Oh hell, I thought this was 1 PM CT, not ET.... Better late than never:
  7. I prefer to think of this as an opportunity to give another player top line minutes. I think will be Quinn but if the Sabres need a goal late they'll put Cozens in Tuch's spot. It will help develop other players and force them to play a level higher than their comfort zone. Then when Tuch comes back it'll be like adding another (very good) piece. Donny needs to stress to these guys that losing one player doesn't mean they're out of the playoffs. If they can continue winning without Tuch and then get Tuch back it will be like turbocharging the roster heading into the playoffs. I hate to see Tuch hurt as much as anyone else on this forum, but the team needs to treat this as an opportunity to step up.
  8. Don't ever change, @Buffalonill Who am I kidding? Stop being a pathetic worrywart! 🙃
  9. The trick is to just demo the stuff that's going to be replaced and NOT the stuff that's supposed to stay, you know, like the gas line, the plumbing, etc. Today I learned that the old cabinets were built in place and need to be disassembled to remove them. This is gonna take longer than I thought. I can almost here you cussin' from here!
  10. It's not enough but they will do far better than 13-12-1 down the stretch.
  11. Yep, all good advice. I bought a new cordless drill/driver with adjustable max torque so that should prevent damage to over torquing. The side-to-side leveling is largely taken care of by the mounting system: A rail mounts to the wall and the cabinets mount to the rail. If you make the rail level, the cabinets will be level. Then front-to-back level is done with the adjustable legs on the front of the cabinets. The video I posted provides a ton of tips for the build: Build all the cabinet shells first, then mount them, then level them, then put in all the innards at the end.
