To me if this losing streak gets to 6, they either have to accept it's another lost year or they need a radical change RIGHT NOW to try to salvage the season. A 6-game losing streak would match the streak Granato started his tenure with, but then the trend was upward. That's not the case now. Six just seems to be the number in my mind.

I think UPL/Levi could be a future duo, but not a present one. It should be UPL + A Real Goalie and let Levi marinate in Rochester.

Yeah, it does. If the 5-on-5 scrum knows there's a guy back, the Sabres can pressure the dump out, knowing that there's someone back to recover the puck... it doesn't have to be a goalie. That just makes me so sad.

Getting caught up on some of the tweets and such: Andy's been under contract as a special goalie consultant or some such. It's not unsurprising he would have a set of equipment in Buffalo. UPL is ill, so to have a second goalie for practice Andy suited up. Levi will back up Comrie tonight though.
