I'm not into fishing so I'm not familiar with the term treble hook. I was thinking of the simple hook type where you just push it through. I googled it just now and

You know I hate a lot of your meme-ish posts but this one is spot on.

Annual expectations thread 2023/24: #24 Dylan Cozens
Doohicksie replied to dudacek's topic in The Aud Club
The Sabres will soon have a center spine envied by the rest of the league and Cozens is a big part of that. -
Sure he can. He just needs to be told what his role is and play his role. He has the physical talent. If he can be coached he'll be fine. If he can't then he needs to go. It's really that simple.

I would say the estimates used for the initial cost estimate used favorable assumptions. The eventual contracts, if they are over a multi-year period, probably baked a lot of risk into the quote, thus the increase. If they are fixed price contracts, the bidding companies had to do that to protect their own financial interests. If they are cost plus contracts, they price may actually come down if they bid too conservatively. -
It's 36% of their home dates. I assume yes.

That's what I said last year. I'm a believer now.

Not if he can. If he will. He's played decent two-way hockey at times but it's not his natural game.

I see it the opposite way. I'm sure he knows Olofsson's playing style. I think he will see this as an opportunity. I think he's at that sweet spot age-wise where a lot of players jump into roles of responsibility. Greenway will help him I have no doubt, and if Olofsson wants to stick in this league he will need to do his part (which is more than just finishing). He's shown brief periods where he's played a good two-way game; I think he has it in him. He just has to want to do it. If he doesn't want to, I'm sure Rousek would.

I don't think Greenway and Krebs overlap as much as you seem to. I see Krebs and Greenway both as disruptive forecheckers. I don't see Greenway as much of a playmaker though and I think the other two would still look to Krebs to drive the play. I could see the line working but on the other hand if it struggles limiting their minutes would probably be the least disruptive to the rest of the team.

The URL is still twitter.com. Even if I navigate to x.com it redirects to twitter.com. I haven't noticed any difference.

The key is to get the simplest configuration possible: Two doors (no fancy cafe doors) or a door for the fridge and a single drawer for the freezer. If you want an icemaker, make sure it's actually in the freezer (some of the new ones physically place them in the refrigerator which is simply dumb). Also, look at the reviews: How old was the appliance at failure? I think there are a fair amount of "infant mortality" failures that emerge almost immediately so the appliance is covered under warranty.
-
Unless you haven't touched your oil since you bought the car this should be under warranty I would think? A lot of cars have 60-100k powertrain warranties. Still... that sucks. Sorry this happened.

I'm not sure I agree. They're definitely closer to Win Now, but there's also a ton of talent in the pipeline, plus the recently developed talent is assuming that veteran role, while still having upside.

Eh. I reported bad information I guess. But then again, most this forum already knows this.

My mother- and father-in-law are getting long in the tooth so to speak. My FIL is in a nursing home for dementia care. They have a 100 acre farm outside of Albany and it's become apparent that the time has come for them to sell. My sister-in-law and her hubby sold their house and bought a house closer to the farm, and all one one floor. They did both closings Tuesday. So they sold this house: And bought this one: The new house is: 7 miles from my mother- and father-in-law's farm (closer into town, in a very quiet suburban/rural area) 10 miles from the nursing home where my father-in-law is (the farm was 15 miles from the nursing home) closer to the supermarket and other shopping than the farm was 5 miles from my sis-in-law's hubby's job (his old commute was 20 miles) a longer commute for my sis-in-law's job (17 versus 4 miles) but still not that bad 1.6 miles from their daughter's house backs up to a country club golf course and a wooded area leading down to a creek has a two car garage versus no garage at their old house has a full basement; their old house was on a slab has a much bigger yard than their old house It's really perfect except that they wanted 2 full baths and the new place only has a bath and a half Now that they've got their new house, my mother-in-law will move in with them and the farm will be on the market. They've been working diligently to get it ready. I'm pretty happy for them; this was a complicated and stressful situation with a lot of moving parts but it's all coming together.
