That's a Covid effect. In 2020 there was very little traffic as everyone was being quarantined. If people had to go out for something the got what they needed and went home. By 2021 people were getting out and about more, and bored people were driving around just for fun, in many cases seeing how fast they could go. We live a block away from a freeway and after the initial Covid quarantines we could hear the cars on the freeway revving their engines; since then the freeway sounds like a NASCAR track, particularly in the evenings.

Actually if he wants a "Here, execute this trade" kinda guy, JBot would suit that well. JBot is a decent tactician was a bit lost when he had to plan strategy as well.

That thing was hated in the Dallas market as much as the Turdburger was in Buffalo. No one liked it.

I'm willing to go with the Kevyn plan for now, and for each season they get better and deeper into the playoffs. If it tops out or stalls then maybe it will be time for a front office/coaching change, but I'd rather see steady, incremental improvement than the gallant race to 9th place *every* season.

This is my second or third time (I forget) but I never lost sense of taste/smell. This bout is basically like a head cold or flu so far. Quit early yesterday, called in sick today. (I'm work from home so I haven't been spreading germs at the office.)

I would say Gerbe was somewhere between a JAG and a character player who was good for the culture.

I beat that drum for a while but it never went anywhere. I'm on a forum that has a thread like The Even Randomer Thread and if a series of posts on a given topic emerges, the mods break it off into its own thread, and in the case of the Seatbelt thread, they would move all the recent seatbelt related posts from the Randomer Thread into the Seatbelt thread. I think @SDS made the call a long time ago that's simply not in the culture of this forum so here we are. The boss gets to make the rules.
