  1. It says 1/2 off on Mondays on the box. That one was about $13 I think (on Monday).
  2. I keep meaning to check them out and just haven't gotten around to it.
  3. If you can get over to Fort Worth, check out Buffalo Bros. There is a location in downtown Fort Worth and one near TCU. The guy who runs them is from Kenmore. If you're in town Monday that would be a good day because Buffalo Bros. has half off all their pizzas including whole pies and slices (excludes only pizza-wing combos). If you do decide to go Monday for dinner let me know; maybe I can meet up with you. The Duff's in Southlake is... okay, but it's set in a strip mall and just doesn't have a Buffalo vibe. The wings are okay though. PIzza from Buffalo Bros.
  4. Kevyn is playing 5D chess with people who don't know you can jump in checkers. He may outsmart himself.
  5. KInd of like Cozens did this past year with Quinn/JJP
  6. Wouldn't it be cool if Tage's line is still clicking along, Cozens' line is playing at a first line level, and Krebs grows a bit and our third line is *also* a first line? Yikes, the rest of the league won't know what to think.
  7. Right and I also wonder if there's some cause-effect going on with high scoring teams who don't win (or get into the playoffs) focusing on defense the following year, almost like it's a self-fulfilling prophecy. Hopefully their goal differential will be bigger this year; that's what I'd focus on; I don't care how you get there.
  8. It's not the AAV but the term that makes Muel's deal look good.
  9. Actually shes' leaning the same way I am so I think we have a solution. We were inspired to pick the tile we did based on a display at IKEA. We looked at a tile store's website and found something similar and said, "That's it!" And we stopped looking. Today I plugged that tile into a picture of the kitchen. The tile website has a utiility to do that so you can see how things will look in your room. But then I started looking at others. I showed the others to my wife and she said either stick with what we had or go to "the first blue one". I told her why I preferred that one and she totally agreed, so I think this is the one.
  10. Actually, yes. He would be been a great vet to lead the way with Girgs and Okie. I think he would have had over-the-top hometown vibes with Tuch.
  11. What would you do? Pick the tile that's neutral, colorwize? Or go with the blue? (see previous post)
  12. Currently this is the backsplash tile my wife and I have picked out (the cabinets are white; the lighting was weird) Before we pull the trigger I decided to look at the tile website and see what else they have. I like this one too: I think it makes the room look a little lighter/airier. My wife said either one is fine but we both have a concern about having to match if we switch kitchen colors. Currently our walls are painted thusly
  13. They were ads that I saw exclusively during hockey games, so...
  14. Not everyone likes bouncey ball, and of those that do, most don't like the Knicks. MSG won't be carrying the playoff games; they move to national streamers/broadcasters.
  15. $29.99 per month? $309.99 per season? You might as well get cable.
  16. The second last play is the one that epitomizes Datsyuk to me: he was one of the best at stealing the puck. Benson demonstrated that during the 3-on-3.
  17. He mentions from time to time his favorite teams and is pretty open about it. He lives in western Canada so naturally the Canucks are his number one team. He also likes the Bruins and Stars. He's somewhat partial to the Sabres as in he'd like to see them return to the playoffs; he sees them as the expansion sibling of his Canucks.
  18. Makar was on that team. That would be huge if he were involved. 😞
  19. I kind of blew them off as mid-80s pop but a an online friend posted about what a good album Songs from the Big Chair by Tears for Fears is. He's not wrong. It's more than hot hits; it actually has prog rock undertones and evokes Pink Floyd and early Genesis, as well is a few jazz notes.
  20. Basically Kevyn is instituting a culture of demanding a Hometown Discount from his best players.
