  1. I'm not sure the problem is "undeveloped depth" as much as it is players currently on the roster are preventing players with plenty of development under their belts from getting a roster spot. In terms of playing I think we have guys in Rochester that would right now be better than VO and KO and possibly Krebs and Jost as well. I'm getting the sense that this will be on ongoing frustration this season, unless Okie decides to retire soon after Game 1,000 and/or VO and one of Krebs/Jost are traded or otherwise moved.
  2. 3rd line would be our typical 4th line, 4th line sucks. Maybe just make the 4th line VO-Jost-KO and give them 3 minutes of ice time. I expect after game 1,000, KO will develop a nagging injury...
  3. Looks like 1) Tuch is out a while, 2) trying to get Cuzzy started up.
  4. After a few minutes of googling which I probably should have done before my previous post it appears you're right, but that it's common for teams to do what EDM did, and that teams often grant permission to other teams to interview their coaches for what amounts to a promotion... basically it seems to be considered bad karma to block a promotion to one of your coaches.
  5. Congratulations. You used The Sabrespace Word of the Day! Take a print out of this thread to Moe's to get 25% off your meal.
  6. Normal? Eh, not common, but you can't block an AHL head coach from taking an NHL HC job.
  7. My concern coming into this game with 11F/7D is that the forward lines would not be able to find a rhythm due to changing pieces out. It kind of seems like that's what's happened thus far. Passes going to nowhere because linemates are being changed up too much.
  8. No lead is safe in today's NHL. No lead is safe in today's NHL. No lead is safe in today's NHL. No lead is safe in today's NHL. No lead is safe in today's NHL.
  9. This is not the thread you're looking for. This is the preseason game on Sept 28
  10. Misalignment = dislocated. Immediately afterwards = they popped it back in.
