Any Twitter alternatives currently a good source for hockey news?

I've been on Mastodon for a while. It's kind of like Windows Phone (when that was a thing): Decent enough, but doesn't have the mainline apps/content providers. Just joined Bluesky and it seems more active. If anyone wants to follow me there my display name is Paul H Doohickie. -
https://bsky.app/profile/joeyerdon.bsky.social/post/3latspsadvk24 Per Joe Yerdon We spotted Thompson in the tunnel in workout gear at the end of practice for what it's worth. Clearly if he's out, those are big shoes to fill.

Don't overreact. It's a temporary situation until Tage returns to the forward ranks. For the defense I would say based on play so far this year I'd rather see Bryson than Muel.

Benson-McLeod-Tuch Peterka-Cozens-Quinn Greenway-Krebs-Zucker Malenstyn-Lafferty-NAK Given the pieces available, this is fine. McLeod is our Mittelstadt now and I think he'll do alright for a short stretch. I'm hopeful that Krebs can elevate his game enough to be worthy of 3rd line duty. He's been playing well overall, except for the egregious pass across the ice that the Habs turned into a goal the last game. The only thing that's a little surprising to me is Benson on McLeod's line instead of JJP. If one of those two top lines doesn't clearly warrant being the top line, I'm sure Lindy will shuffle the deck a bit (most likely switch up the top three LWs somehow). And Bryson will be fine in the second pairing. He's matured steadily every year and he's playing good responsible defense.

I think they are on the waiver wire for 24 hours, give or take. So.... this morning.

His rooting interests are the Vancouver Canucks, Boston Bruins and Dallas Stars. However he's mentioned several times that he sees a kinship between the Sabres and Canucks since they were in the same expansion class. -

The Hockey Guy has the Sabres in the top half of the league... biggest rise in his rankings this week (cued up to the spot where he discusses the Sabres). -

Sabres power play: First 8 games was 0 for 22. Last 7 games, 7/24 (29%) The Cozens line is waking up. Tage is reverting to 2022-23 Tage. UPL getting his swagger back. After the 0-3 start, they're 7-4-1, a 102 point pace over the last 12 games. It's a long season and there will be ups and downs, but Sabres look like they're figuring it out. -

I'm gonna blame that on Dahlin who was checking a Flame a the side of the net but also blocking UPL's view and path to the puck. -

The Rangers were 8-2-1 heading into the game against the Sabres. There were remarks during the game though, I think by Rayzor, that another team that beat them in regulation was the Caps and the Sabres followed their game plan- don't give the Rangers time to use their skill. Harry them at ever opportunity. It worked. Some teams can look great but against certain styles of play just suck. -

In the waning minutes Clifton laid out to block a shot then desperately cleared it down the ice with his glove. They never stopped playing. -

Strangely, the highlights were pretty much how the whole game went. The Sabres stymied everything the Rangers tried to do and were successful what they did. There weren't that many hits because the Sabres were never far from their marks. It was more shoves and shoulders and bumps than hits, and there were plenty. -

From the Ottawa GDT: Now let's see them do that against a playoff caliber team. I didn't think Ottawa looked particularly impressive. Okay, so now they've done it to a playoff caliber team. Do this consistently and I will be impressed.
