Until the deal is done, you never announce you're trying to trade a player (unless they've asked for a trade). If Kevyn had announced he was trying to trade Mitts and then no deal worked out, now you have a player on your team that knows you were trying to move him- very demotivating.
I just feel like he played the game the way it should be played, and the way more Sabres should be playing it. The decision to move him, apparently months ago, was a tragic one in my view.
It's a matter of degree I guess. I don't see it that way. It's merely an expression of resignation.
Mine too. I think this was the only positive of the Krueger era. The whole team sucked but Ollie scored a ton.
