    To be fair, pretty much the whole team is second tier... I don't think Bryson is especially fast. Compared to seasons past, he's a bit sturdier on his skates (weight room!) and plays smarter.

    He's really not a bad player. Bottom pairing guy for sure, but clearly an NHLer. I like him as #7. I would say he's far better this year than in seasons past.

    That's at least the second time they've done that. Both ended up with good EDM scoring chances. I just really liked Mitts, and face it, the forward lines are a jumble without him.

    Probably the most noticeable play Casey made last night was when a defenseman pinched and lost the puck. He was down by the faceoff circle and chased down the Wild player all the way down the ice, didn't quite nullify him but harassed him enough without taking a penalty to mess up his shot. Still turned into a good scoring chance (didn't go in), but if Casey hadn't gotten on his horse it would have been a clean breakaway.
