  1. Now I'm pissed off.
  2. Eh. Suckitude. At least we still have the lead.
  3. I was just about ask how the Sabres were going to score a shortie with Tuch in the box... 😛
  4. Actually I think that was on purpose: I've noticed the Sabres, if they don't have a clean shot, are dumping it into the scrum in front and hoping for the best. That's one way to take advantage of the Sabres forward talent: Give them a chance in the midst of the confusion. It worked tonight for Skinner.
  5. Sabres outshot 6-1 in the latter part of that period.
  6. Yeah, their color guy sez Vahgis just like Rayzor.
  7. I thought Skinner made a terrible play to dump it into the scrum in the slot but then he chased after it, fished it out and scored.
  8. That dude is 1000 miles in the wrong direction for this franchise I think the idea is just for Kevyn to eat the salary and not play him in the NHL, and in return the Sabres get something of use from the Caps. The problem is, he's signed through next season.
  9. I don’t think they got any better He's an okay bottom pair guy... on a good day. If you need to shore up your defense late in the season and can't bring in a big ticket guy (cap, resources, etc.) you could do worse than Boosh. Besides, there will always be this:
  10. I've been accused as such on occasion.
  11. Whatever you did two games ago against Florida, you do again tonight. Did you watch the Panthers game on MSG? If so, then yes.
  12. Putting the games on ESPN+ which has a TON of subscribers makes it FAR more accessible to more people than it was on NHL.tv. And at a far lower cost for subscribers.
  13. ESPN+ I don't know why this gives people such confusion. If the NHL says it's an ESPN+/Hulu exclusive (and doesn't show MSG), it's on ESPN+ with an ESPN crew. Whatever you did for the Florida game two games ago, that's what you do tonight.
  14. Driving truck is a tough life. My father-in-law did it and it was tough on his family. Things got better for them when he got into the union, but it was still tough on his family. He worked odd shifts and just wasn't around for a lot of his kids' growing up.
  15. Mitts as a prospect was more like Rosen is now.
  16. Yeah, that's the point of the third party retention. I know how it works but I still looked at the post for a while before I realized what was going on.
  17. They say it takes a while for a Dman to mature. Bryson seems best suited for a 7/8D role; not sure if he'd be good as a full time player. But he's been a godsend in this stretch. The Sabres are 11-4 with him in the lineup. I think what he provides is boring defense and so-so offensive support. He'll jump up on the play but definitely doesn't push it like our top D do. And on the defensive side, he's not so much looking to set up an offensive rush as he is just looking to clear the puck. Our top D get too fancy imo and try to exit the zone with control. Sometimes it's best to just get it out.
  18. Bryson surprises me every game by making a sneaky good play to exit the zone. I think all the watching has made him one of the smarter Dmen.
  19. I literally plugged in your words "Filthy Mitts on that dime" into the gif thing and that was the best one that came up.
