To be fair, he was trying to handle a pass that got away from him, then tried to stop in front of UPL and ran out of space. He didn't run him over, he bumped him. Oopie sold it nicely and the Sabres came in to avenge (starting with Dahlin). -

Now you're starting to sound like Rob Ray. They were outshot more than 2-to-1 and are lucky to be tied. -

Rich Strike wasn't in the 2022 Kentucky Derby field the day before the race. Because another horse was scratched, he got in as an 80-1 shot. As the race played out he literally looked like an also ran. Here's the Derby entering the home stretch with Rich Strike circled in red. Rich Strike won the Kentucky Derby. Far, far, far more unlikely things have happened in sport than the Sabres making the playoffs this year. Unlikely? Of course. But don't say they're not even in the race. -
Spoiler: Coming into the home stretch, the winner is the one circled in red In the world of sports more unlikely things that the Sabres making the playoffs have happened. Rich Strike was an 80:1 shot. The day before the race, he wasn't even in the field. He only raced because another horse was scratched.

Normally, yes. The games stay up for a couple days I believe. But since it's an NHL Network game, not sure. -

You asking me? Logan Thompson, VGK goalie.
-
Yeah. Thompson had two go in off him (Okposo and Cozens). Skinner's goal from the high slot is usually saved; Power's goal from the point should have been saved. That's the first time this decade Girgs looked like a sniper. Two goals were legit: The first Cozens goal (clean breakaway) and the Mitts goal (pp with a screen). There have been games where the Sabres were unlucky on shots to the net. This was not one of them.
-
Random facts: Sabres had only one player with a minus rating (Zach Benson with a -1). Knights had only one player with a plus rating (Paul Cotter with a +1).
-
Sabres are now 12-3 with Bryson.
-
And here you said you had no reason to watch this game. I guess I was right: You watched it anyway.
-
Yeah, yeah, yeah, we know all that. Just keep winning. It will sort itself out or it won't.
-
No. ...and Stone and Carrier and... well the other guy I never heard of. But you take Tage and Cozens and Mitts off the Sabres and what are you left with?
-
I also think Tage has more confidence passing the puck to Greenway.
-
...and then they weren't. They played almost one decent period (end of first, beginning of second) but other than that the Sabres were clearly the better team.
