  1. There are TNT-exclusive Sabres games that Fubo would not have.
  2. Lots of WJC highlights on Twitter if you want to take a look. Lots of 'em.
  3. Hard to prove a negative.
  4. I would say that's as much on Donny as on Erik. Let's see, for instance, what he can do for young Mr. Power.
  5. But they won't. 2nd seed is too important to them. They're catching the Dolphins on a downward arc.
  6. Maybe he's washed at this point, but 954 games played, 340 points, +7 is not a fraudulent career by any stretch.
  7. I was kind of hoping Donny would tinker with the forward lines too. Maybe something like Benson-Thompson-Tuch Peterka-Cozens-Quinn Skinner-Mittelstadt-Greenway Girgensons-Krebs-Robinson/Olofsson ...to give Mitts a finisher. (Note, this is not my idea; someone else posted it but I think it would be good to try.)
  8. I'd be very careful about trading Mitts. He is one of our more versatile and tenacious forwards. I think if we traded him to TO we'd regret it.
  9. I doubt they'd go for, especially within the division, but it would be spicy, wouldn't it?
  10. Matt Ellis: the Matt Ellis of coaching staff whipping boys. (He needs to go.)
  11. I don't care if he's "lost me" but it just seems like he's slipped into Krueger mode: Platitudes with no substance behind them, saying he knows what needs to be fixed but it's not fixed. There's a point at which you realize a coach is no longer effective with a group of players and I think that line has been crossed with Granato. I really think it comes down to Matt Ellis though. Their 5v5 numbers aren't awful. The power play went from being an asset last year to a liability now; the PK went from respectable earlier in the season to a joke now. If Granato can't make the call to relieve Ellis of those duties, he's not the man for the job.
  12. Currently coaching in the the AHL... 🤔
  13. Such terrible puck luck for the Sabres against the Sens. Forsberg isn't all that, but he was on Sunday.
  14. Guys like that are few an far between. Maybe Couture is one of them but chances are he's not. I see 3+ years of him to be pretty risky; in year we might be complaining about him the way we complain about Okposo.
  15. They got a cast-off from another city, not an expansion team.
  16. Quebec would like a word. If so he didn't pass the audition.
  17. He will be 39 at the end of his contract. Only Jagr was Jagr. Nope, first I heard about that. I went so far as to check- he's from Guelph, Ont.
