I could accept Appert with an interim tag I suppose, with an extended audition, will the Sabres evaluate other candidates. I would hope they'd wait until the season is completely over and they have a chance to see which coaches are available before settling on Appert (yes, settling is what it feels like)>

It's been like that a lot this season. I think for a lot of games it's been Lindy as "executive" coach and Appert as "operations" coach.

But if Tuch is good to go, the Sabres are probably better off shipping Kuntar back. I think he may have an NHL future, but nothing more than a bottom 6 guy.

Right. And people who don't do a lot of driving still have to change there oil per the calendar cycle. Otherwise, why specify it?

I watched The Hockey Guy's (members only) video where he comments on the trade. He lives in Canucks territory and they're his #1 rooting interest. He basically sounds like Sabrespace in the aftermath of the Eichel trade. He even called the Canucks the worst run team in the history of the NHL. He's pretty despondent. We all know how he feels.

After the dealership I took my dog to the vet because she has a lump on her leg. The vet took a needle biopsy and had bad news, said it's likely an aggressive cancer. They sent the samples to a lab for confirmation. He said if they can get the entire tumor removed from her leg and don't miss any, she may have a full recovery, but it sounded like a pretty big IF to me.
