  1. Punch is old. He doesn't know about that new rock & roll that that kids listen to these days.
  2. ...a little less though. which was my point
  3. After watching the Eichel trade play out, you know that any rumored trade returns are merely negotiating positions, not minimum acceptable offers.
  4. He's taking over for Mickey Redmond as the color analyst on Red Wings games. e5
  5. Well, nothing really matters. Nothing really matters to me. Anyway the wind blows.
  6. None of it makes sense and the words don't matter. Just roll with it.
  7. He takes too many bad penalties. Like stupid bad.
  8. UPL first off the ice. This is is best, and perhaps last, chance to show he's NHL material.
  9. I didn't. But do you really think that The Toronto organEYEzation even wants him? That playing for the Marlies is substantively better than playing for the Amerks? If you're talking about "close to home" and his home is his hometown of St. Catherines, TO is a little over an hour away; Rochester is an hour and a half. Do you think being a half hour closer is *that* important to him? Because I can't imagine him even having a shot of playing time with the Leafs unless they have a huge rash of injuries.
  10. If this is the case we'll probably know within a week of the contract termination.
  11. I can't imagine they'll touch anyone in that Zadorov/Risto domain.
  12. And he refuses to do what the contract states. Sabres are living up to their end.
  13. Won't be Fitz; he's not waiver exempt. No, he knows he's not an NHLer anymore so it's time to play in Europe.
  14. Jost. I think he knows he's not really NHL material anymore and will probably sign to play in Europe. This is just a step in that process.
  15. He's from St. Catherines. Is there an AHL team closer to home that actually wants him?
  16. Yes he does. The contract will be terminated for cause (the cause being that he declined to report to Rochester as required under his contract).
  17. I can tell, since you don't even care enough about him to spell his name right. It's Sheahan. Why? This is totally on Sheahan: He's not good enough to stay on an NHL roster. He chose not to report to Rochester. How are the Sabres responsible for either of these conditions? They're not. This is all on Sheahan.
