  1. Good question but i doubt it Yes he can (if he's appealing the entire suspension... not so sure if he's only saying it should be 2 and not 3)
  2. VO with Hiny backfilling him, either on the third or fourth line (and promoting someone up to 3rd line)
  3. I had you on Ignore for a short while but then I realized you weren't nearly as obnoxious as your first impression led me to believe.
  4. But just a bit. I was expecting 2.
  5. Malkin got 4 games for a cross check to the head...
  6. I went to a Christmas concert; I missed it too. Just finished watching it on replay. The Sabres lost that game in the first 10 minutes- with all the chances they had they needed to capitalize on at least one or two.
  7. Connor McDavid curing all forms of cancer.
  8. But what if I'm the only one that thinks you're trash?
  9. One or two people have asked me about how to put someone on Ignore recently. Ignore can be a useful utility. If you find that a particular poster brings out the worst in you, the Ignore feature can help you get past their posts without engaging and showing your bad side. If you want to Ignore someone, you can (on a desktop browser) hover the cursor over the poster's information, like thus: And a menu pops up with options at the bottom. At the bottom right is Ignore. If you click on that, it brings up this screen: Check the boxes of the content of theirs you want to Ignore, and click Update Preferences. Another way to get there is to go to the down arrow next to your username in the upper right corner of the screen: And go to Ignored Users. If you go that way, though, you will need to begin to key in the name of the person you want to ignore until their username pops up. Note that through this Ignored Users screen you can also unclick content you are ignoring from a user, in other words, take them off Ignore. So it's not final. Personally I put people on ignore when I notice they trigger me. Their posts still show up in the thread but they're masked over so you can't see them. If you click on it it will give you the option to just view that post or to take them off ignore. After putting them on ignore I will sometimes peek at their posts. I prepare myself mentally for it. Sometimes it's a confirmation of yeah, that's why they're on Ignore, and sometimes it is a valid point and I might answer. If the valid points start to outweigh the stuff that pisses me off I will take the person off ignore. But using the function helps me build up a tolerance for that person's.... personality. The point of this forum, at least to me, is to have fun. If it's not fun, the Ignore function can filter out the people that are stealing your fun.
  10. He also displaces defenders along the boards, shoulder down, for puck recovery.
  11. And he can still get the senior breakfast special at Denny's
  12. Yes I am immune to you.
  13. You know the "most talented" remark was about Skinner and the contract length was about Mitts, right?
  14. Yeah there will be ups and downs but that line will continue to grow and learn for a while yet.
  15. Tbh I don't care how much his contract is. It is what it is and he is one of the most talented players on the team. And it's not like the Sabres are busting up against the cap. At the end of next season.
  16. Right now he's in Tage's shadow but I think the league will start noticing Cozens soon too. It just blows my mind that the whole line is 20-21 years old and they click so well together. Extend 'em all!
  17. Not saying he never makes a bad pass, but to me it seems the "undisciplined liability" is more reputation than current performance.
  18. Yep. I didn't see too much of Tuch before he was with the Sabres though. I described Tage's line in another post as three virtuosos who play well off each other (as opposed to the Cozens line which is a well-synchronized unit). Each of the players on Tage's line can solo and improvise but the other two are there to pick up when they have to.
  19. He also made the passes that led to Thompson's 3rd and 4th on-timer goals last night. He is an underrated passer.
  20. And he's met a lot of the younger guys at development camp. As I recall he seemed pretty excited to be here.
  21. This didn't age well 😄
  22. Yep. I learned that during the Detroit game: I left after the OT to pick up something at the pharmacy; when I got back the shootout was done. I never got to see any of the shots except the last round which was in the highlights.
  23. No, the problem is when multiple top 4 guys go down and you have to replace them with 7 & 8. Although I do agree that Clague played pretty well and might be a better #7 than Fitz or Pilut.
