  1. It seems like the Sabres are playing faster and faster and faster. I think they got this. Hopefully a quick PP.
  2. In fact I think it will be a crappy-ass goal too.
  3. They'll break through. I think @JohninMinn. is right.
  4. Yeah, Skinner doesn't have a one timer to speak of.
  5. Well they get another chance.
  6. Not sure what you're referring to, but the Canadians call their version of the F-18 the CF-18.
  7. It is, in fact, an F-18, and not just any F-18, it's a CF-18 (C = Canadian), the kind in the Jets' logo.
  8. I know. It's Be Nice to Inky Day though so I didn't want to argue with him.
  9. Oh that's the same crash, not just an F-18, but a CF-18.
  10. Yeah... I can't argue that. Maybe I jinxed him by having the wrong meme.
  11. Not at the NHL level, no. Harsh. And probably true. In lighter news,
  12. Actually I thought it was when I first posted it, but the recent airshow mishap I thought that was from, was a different aircraft. I don't think anything looks that much like an F-18 except an F-18.

  14. Yeah, that's where George Martin came in. They didn't have training in music theory, didn't understand the notation, but they had an innate feel for it. Here's a YouTube video that looks into it.
  15. I didn't say they were retired; in fact I said the opposite- "it will be some time before .... the F-18 is fully retired"
  16. Don't get me wrong, he's my favorite Beatle. I like the music he's done since then. He was "home grown" as a drummer and played more by feel than by reading the music. I heard an interview where he said he couldn't really read music, so the band would have to say stuff like "play bum-bum-BAA at this point of the song" or whatever and upon playing something once he could duplicate it. But it was just seat-of-the-pants practical ability and very little training as such.
