  1. Just because they're there for one-timers doesn't mean they're pinned to a spot. Look at the VO goal recently on a 2-on-1 when he was fed by Boosh. They were both flying down the ice and VO one-timed it. Also, the three way passing play from Skinner to Tuch to Tage that was one-timed in. If they're not moving around, it's not because they're planning a one-timer, it's because they're not moving around. fify
  2. What I would like to see is the Sabres doing one of those choreographed post-game cellies like the Canes do... y'know, to mock them in defeat.
  3. Also in the 1990s matchups between the Red Wings and Avs, I think the team that won the season series lost in the playoffs every time. In the...97? Conf Champions there were even a pair of 6-0 games with each team beating the other team soundly in consecutive games. Playoffs are weird but I think a Sabres team playing with house money might be chaotic enough to disrupt the expected order of things.
  4. Preczactly. What a maroon.
  5. Lemieux was a "great pick" at #31? Sure, he's played 256 games, but the most games he's ever played in a season was 59 in Covid-shortened 2019-20.
  6. Pekar took out Rasmus.
  7. Has anyone tried moving him to center? Oh... he *is* a center? To be fair it looks like he's had some physical challenges. https://www.buffalohockeybeat.com/sabres-prospect-matej-pekar-close-to-playing-ready-to-be-pest-for-amerks/
  8. I understand they're basically Cliff Notes with 18% more (unnecessary) u's in words like "colour".
  9. In my case I was able to take off a few hours in the afternoon and started work a bit late the next day, when the Sabres came to Dallas. I have a half hour (well, not quite) ride to the train, and an hour long train ride each way when I go to a Sabres game in Dallas.
  10. Why is it UPL that moves? Why not Comrie? I acknowledge your point about contract length, if if you want to keep the best goalie for the future, it may be UPL.
  11. No, but I suspect of tandem of UPL and Demko might be more tenable over the mid- to long-term than UPL and Comrie. But even then I'm not sure.
  12. I'm talking about if he's traded to another team, he won't be available this summer.
  13. This is my sincere hope as well.
  14. Except if they think Demko in particular is someone they want to target, he's available now and likely won't be this summer. I'm sure Donny knows people who know him.
  15. I think if they acquire Demko, Comrie is going back in the trade. ...or not.
  16. That's when Boosh was injured and/or playing higher up the lineup when others were injured. That makes Bryson's +/- all the more damning.
  17. Part of the reason there was OJT at the NHL level is the Sabres really had nothing at the NHL level. They'd prematurely brought players up without finishing their development. If you look at the forwards in Rochester, because they will need to play their way onto the roster they will likely be more fully developed and will just need to adjust to full NHL speed.
  18. I've been to precisely 1 game this year. Just like most years. The game in Dallas. This year I met @Redneck there.
  19. I thought he was supposed to be more of a Missing Piece on a team that was already close.
  20. I dunno. Are Coles Notes anything like Cliff Notes? (asking for @matter2003)
  21. Eakin was more the voice in the wilderness.
  22. I have no specific information, but I can assure you he does.
