  1. Good in that we're not trailing? I'll give ya that. But they don't look very good.
  2. It's basically what I was hoping for in several other posts over the last few days, I think going back to when they said he was in town for training camp. A part time gig so he doesn't have to be in Buffalo 24/7 and can spend time with his family, but still help guide the goalie corps such as it is (not just Levi) toward greatness in goaltending.
  3. Sadly I suppose this was an actual Keys to the Game.
  4. As I recall, WPHD only did that on the overnights, but I memba.
  5. Minutes when my window makes water more wet may work more when moving within my work mood winces.
  6. Oh, I know. Not really Mexican at all.
  7. It makes sense. He said wanting to spend more time with family and as a consultant he can be FLA based and do some of the work virtually (i.e., calls with Levi and the other goalies) while visiting Buffalo in person a few times during the year.
  8. No Mighty Taco mentions?
  9. Good for Andy. A true class act and a consummate professional. I think they may have done this already but not made a big announcement. He was here for training camp and I would not be surprised to see him around here periodically, especially if he's signed some kind of contract as a part time conultant/coach.
  10. Interesting to see so many *real* Mexican places in WNY. Where I live in Fort Worth, I'm on the edge of a true barrio and there is a good variety of Tex/Mex and true Mexican, where they may or may not speak English and the prices are super cheap. There's actually a mall out here that has been converted over to a Mexican mercado- La Gran Plaza- only 3 miles from my house, which is the heart of the south Ft Worth barrio. There's another barrio area north of downtown near the old Stockyards. The northeast corner of my neighborhood:
  11. I'm trying RyJo. I think that makes it clear with the minimum number of letters.
  12. Last time we were in Buffalo we met some friends for lunch at Aguacates on Elmwood. It was pretty authentic stuff, based on what I get here in Texas. As I said the GDT, I grew up around the corner from there, although back then this location was a bar. My first job was down the street at Roma's which is now 33 Speeakeasy. I'd kind of like to try Los Mayas at some point, just cuz it's in the old hood.
  13. I grew up around the corner from there. Of course it wasn't Los Mayos back then, it was a bar. My first job was at 33 Speakeasy back when it was Roma's Restaurant.
  14. It's basically a story that's very strong on sweetness. I hate most glurge but for some reason animal glurge gets me every time.
  15. Or maybe they are two of the top three goalies because they opened against the Sabres. Just sayin'. Agreed.
  16. If you're into animal glurge you've probably seen this. But if you haven't this might give a smile or even give you a few happy tears.
