Let us not forget the role Mitts played in the final minutes. He disrupted at least three Boston shots that would have been Grade A chances. For a guy with a stat line of 0 all the way across, he played a helluva game.
I said earlier: Girgs has hands of stone, Okie is slow. Krebs is alone out there with those two in terms of scoring. Robinson in place of Girgs is that increase in skill that makes scoring a, ummm, realistic goal for the line.
I thought he looked "okay" last game, but that's understandable: He was shaking off the rust. Tonight though he looks better than he's looked all year. I think this means no more Tage on the PK.
Eh. Maybe, but this whole game they've looked like paper bruins. Soft even. Part of it I think is you can't hit what you can't catch and the Sabres are moving their feet tonight.
