In that case, what's his username?

Someone needs to tell him about us.

For the first time since I broke my arm in April, I rode my bicycle last night. :D
-
Rahr Iron Thistle Scottish Ale, brewed less than ten miles from my house.

Still can't ride my bicycle... it's killin' me. (I broke my arm a month ago.)

They don't have Jack-In-The-Box in Buffalo, do they?
-
The position's been filled with someone who interned at Jack-In-The-Box.

Stafford will score 36 goals for the Sabres this year. Just you wait and see.

His great work ethic certainly doesn't come across on the ice.
I couldn't disagree more.

(I was quoting Animal House. Forgive me for not digging up the Youtube clip.)

I don't know, I think he's kinda cute.

This board was always different because it allowed intelligent discourse from people with a wide range of opinions but always held true to the truth and civility.
I hate to get drawn into this meta-thread, but I think every forum says this about itself and all are lying about it.

With all the one goal games we've had this year, he wouldn't even have to wake up very much for us to be higher in the standings.
I said something similar when the Sabres were in the Pit of Despair, but not just about Stafford. I said the whole team was pretty good, they just needed to get a little better in order to win. Take, for instance, the powerplay. Give them a PP goal every game (as they've been scoring lately) and those one-goal games start turning in the Sabres' favor.

Stafford needs to go
Third door on the right, just after the bedroom. Tell him not to forget to raise the seat.

It's actually very good for a guy who had no training camp with a new team and has spend some time this season hurt.
Playing on a line with Jagr doesn't hurt though.

How many times do we have guys open for 1-timers but the pass is in the skates, or the guy fans on it? That's not coaching, that's players.
Could be the system. Watch a good power play and you see players in constant motion, but the players know where to expect their teammates to be. When that happens, passes go to zones with players moving toward the puck, often with defenders in tow. The result is that, having some speed, it's easier to adjust to the bad pass by changing path or speed, plus having a little more time to do so since the defender isn't already there.
The Sabres set up in static formations. This allows the defenders to block shooting and passing lanes, meaning passers are forced to pass around them, resulting in off-target passing. Since the power play unit is flat-footed, it's harder for them to adjust to those bad passes. They end up lunging at them, or kicking them up with their skates, etc.
RR needs to institute more of a cycle/weave kind of power play where the pieces are in motion and the passes are to predictable zones rather than static points.
That's probably asking too much of a PP unit in the middle of a season; it's something done during training camp. They have a couple of extra non-playing days in the week following the NJ game (only 2 games in 8 days); that might be the window to work on some of that stuff.

He's not going anywhere. Deal with it.

I think I'd rather be bloody and concussed than go back to my locker-room after that one.
Wow, that was awesome.
-
No, it's better than that.

In a perverse way, the Sabres are awesome. It's amazing that a team can suck this bad; that's just awesome.
