jagr and afingenov shouldnt be mentioned in the same sentence. jagr is an elite and complete nhl player, afin is just fast crafty euro with flashes of brillance. the differnence btwn the two is light years, not just the ability to finish.

The announcers were not as bad as the guys in the southeast....canadian broadcasts always have some redeeming value, at least the comercials are entertaining, plus we won, so they sounded great!

connolys goal was ridiculous - he took it end to end and beat a bunch of oilers. caught the game on the free center ice - a true team and full 60 minute effort, with some very nice goaltending mixed in. so satisfying.

We relaxed in the third, and they took full advantage of it. Didnt see the game, just listened. Biron made a sweet save at the end to win his 13th straight, and Drury is producing - 18 pts in last 18 games, w/ 9 goals in the last 9. That is en fuego!! Roy returned for the third, so it seems he is fine (got first star w/ 2 pts) Max w/ 3 pts. Connolly w/ 2 pts. Gooooooooooooooo Sabres!! Very impressive.
