Feels like a game of "deflections" tonight!

I guess Larkin got pi$$ed off when Skins would not interview him on an episode of Between the Stalls.

It was disappointing that he could not be more effective last game, but only he and the training staff know the story. That said, as a general statement, I've been pleasantly surprised by Tage's durability the last two seasons. There was a time I questioned whether he could be factor AND stay on the ice before he blossomed under Granato.

This suggest to me that we need a different coaching strategy, which may mean new assistants.....which IMHO we've needed all along. We need new assistants with a proven NHL level pedigree (vs. what we have today). I'd also add the new assistants need to help the PP as well, as it is lame and too easy to defend against (at least in the second half of the season).

KO is done, but Z still brings an abrasive game that we need, so I think he should stay for another season.

Florida beat us with a tight and relentless checking performance. Yes our young players are learning, but I feel we still lack some players who can replicate what they did to us....GMKA is going to need to make roster changes....even with Levi in the lineup next season.

I feel like we lost this game in the 2nd....we stopped skating and Florida completely took over. Props to Levi....team let him down tonight

Gudas helps his goalie by giving him his stick back....Levi lost his early in the game and our D did NOTHING to get it back to him....common sense and coaching deficiency

Florida's checking is just relentless...we're not making any adjustments to counter

Hard to believe, but I believe we have outshot them 8 to 4....not sure there was any quality looks there.

Sorry, but IMHO I have to disagree on the effort...not enough skating.

Despite the fact we're behind, I am still encouraged by the play of Levi. IMHO - he has not been beaten cleanly by a shot that he should have had. Some fluky goals the last two games, plus a quality deflection. He's not given up anything soft.

I still question the wisdom of our coaching staff with respect to the PP....completely passive, not enough movement and not enough screening. SHOOT!!!

Amazing save there....D has to be more helpful with helping Levi recover his stick (without taking a penalty of course)
