  1. Maybe he should be the goaltending coach....since he had such a strong history of not scoring as a player.
  2. Which begs the question.....how much longer does he have to wear it? No idea as far as I know.
  3. Defensively, Big Johnson and Clifton are +2...Little Johnson is 0. Main 3 guys with the most minutes are -1 as well as Joki (only 7 minutes).
  4. FFS - 6 men and not even close.....how can this happen so badly? My guess is 11-7 does not help.
  5. Nice to get the lead back...now increase it! Hopefully Cozens is trending his way back to normal.
  6. Yes...makes me think of NFL running backs....they need touches to get into a rhythm running the ball. The 3-headed beast prevents any of them from getting sufficient reps to sharpen their games.
  7. I am being sarcastic....but that being said, I cannot help but wonder why he projects so much 'weakness' on the ice with his balance and ability to stay vertical when engaged in any physical contact. If he's stronger, than I don't see it at all.
  8. Asking for a friend....did Power do any strength training in the offseason....any at all?!?!
  9. Did he on JJP's goal??? I thought it was Mitts and Jost.
  10. No offense, but I think it more likely that Benson would do this than Power.
  11. There is nobody on this roster up to doing that.
  12. Dahlin finally started doing this and Power needs to follow his example
  13. How is that not a penalty on Wilson for the hit on Power!!!! Props to Greenway
  14. Talk about puck luck on that Cap's goal....looked like it deflected 3 times
  15. Imagine good things happening when you go to the net....who would have thought?!?! 😉
  16. Power is going to be wondering about Wilson being on his backside all night now.
  17. Washington DC is always in the dark! 😉
  18. Sure would be nice to see Benson pot one on game #9 for him. Even if he gets sent back, having a goal on his stat sheet would be a nice way to end his NHL stint for 2023. If he stays, then maybe having the monkey off his back will do wonders.
  19. I don't have any data to support my theory on this, but my assertion is that having 4 scoring lines is difficult in the modern day salary cap era. Once upon a time, it was easier to support more high salary contracts absent a cap constraint. If you can build a 3rd or even 4th scoring line with cheaper players on their rookie contracts (have enough prospects to do this), then maybe this can happen (i.e. Sabres)?
