The odd thing here is that the turnover in GM's and HC's has been fairly frequent over the years, meaning no real stability in the management. That said, Pegula keeps hiring MEDIOCRITY, which results in that frequent turnover. So yes, Pegula tolerates mediocrity because that is all that he hires.

My answer to the question....not until the off-season. DG has a contract for another 2 seasons, so Pegula might eat the $4 million then. The challenge is finding an experienced HC with a proven record that would be willing to take over this mess. Player changes will take the form of our FA's leaving and replacing them with bargain basement acquisitions.

Adams is holding out unless somebody offers a first rounder for him....kidding, but I don't doubt that he has a minimum price that the other 30 teams feel is ridiculously high and so we're stuck with him until we get nothing but a 5th rounder at the deadline.

TNT guys staying not enough "effort and battle" from Buffalo....they're being kind as far as I'm concerned.

Donny's interview there just reinforces in my mind the notion that he's probably a nice guy, but he has no ability to FIRE UP his team.

Sabres had a lot of zone time there....but as usual no net presence whatsoever. All Boston has to do is watch the Sabres skate figure 8's around the perimeter of the zone until they eventually miss a pass and then the Bruins break out going the other way.

I admire the simplicity of Boston's style of play.....simple but effective. All it takes is a little effort and heart.
