Eric Comrie clears Waivers; Assigned to Rochester

Maybe Pegula will finally realize that Adams is wasting his money and make a change....I know, wishful thinking. -
No worries....if GMKA and Granato are still around, they will make sure to remove any masculinity that Wahlberg may have and turn him into a timid perimeter player.

Should the Sabres just start winning and stop losing?
Carmel Corn replied to SwampD's topic in The Aud Club
They'll get the memo sometime around March, string some meaningless victories together and decide they're "fixed" and ready to show us what they can do next season....and that Donny is their man!!! -
Tyson Jost clears waivers and has been assigned to the Amerks

RE: Comrie....maybe, but part of me thinks GMKA is still hoping that somebody within the 3 headed beast emerges as a legit #1 to make him look smarter than he really is (for hanging on to all 3 of them). -
Tage Thompson placed on No Roster List; Practice Lines 12/28

Dumb question....is the Non-roster list something that has a minimum or maximum timeframe or is it completely arbitrary based on the situation? -
Someone Tell Me What Owen Power Does Well?!?!
Carmel Corn replied to JoeSchmoe's topic in The Aud Club
He does nothing well at the moment. What I would LIKE to see is a recommitment to playing defense first. When everything you do is not working, then simplify and focus on one thing first, get it better and then maybe broaden your horizons. IMHO - Power needs to better in his own zone as the first priority. The question is whether the coaching and/or a partner exists on the team that can help him achieve this. -
The odd thing here is that the turnover in GM's and HC's has been fairly frequent over the years, meaning no real stability in the management. That said, Pegula keeps hiring MEDIOCRITY, which results in that frequent turnover. So yes, Pegula tolerates mediocrity because that is all that he hires.

My answer to the question....not until the off-season. DG has a contract for another 2 seasons, so Pegula might eat the $4 million then. The challenge is finding an experienced HC with a proven record that would be willing to take over this mess. Player changes will take the form of our FA's leaving and replacing them with bargain basement acquisitions.
